I have been perusing some selected International Pics this year - and have shortlisted "Six of The Best" for the award of "Husband of the Year" - and would like to share some of my deliberations - and choices - for your approval.
These are in no particular order - but I will pass on the thoughts of "La Commandante" and I - for you to mull over - then perhaps - YOU choose.
Enjoy - johnnybach.
Starting off then with our Number One - the UK entry - clearly an outdoor boy - who, as a sporting type, clearly has his priorites right: Well, it could rain! Honourable Mention, perhaps?
Moving on to our American Cousins next - this is the entry from the USA. "Hamburger Harry" in the rear seat(s), clearly enjoying some fresh air and a puff - hope she doesn't run out of puff!
Our third entry comes in from Greece. Clearly, their winter fuel problems are worrying this lad, who has quite obviously been hewing and cutting all morning - and again, is another chap enjoying a well deserved smoke, whilst his nearest and dearest gives him a helping hand. Nice gel!
In at Number four - we have our Polish entry. A quick taste to confirm - then - in with the order. "I'll go and open the van door for you darling" What consideration from this lovely chap! Another "Happy Couple". I'm sure she's smiling behind those crates. Another honourable mention, I feel.
Next up - our Serbian entry for this year. "I'm not having my wife - or my girlfriend walking all the way to the hairdressers - I'll get the limmo out. C'mon girls - hop in - I'll drive you there in style." What a guy! - You have to admire a dashing chap like that!
Well - it's been a close run contest, this year, but my last pic is the winner for me - from our Celtic Cousins accross the Irish sea, this guy wins it for me. You can tell romance is as strong as ever with this couple - as this hopeless romantic holds her hand as they return home with a few essentials. Hope they haven't forgotten the crisps (chips to you guys across the pond).
Well that's it for this year - Whaddya think? johnnybach^&grin
