I finished a new fort and diorama the other day...I'm gonna start documenting it on here with some pictures...the fort is it's 33"s long x 31"s wide and 15"s tall...it has 18 interior doors plus the front gate...it is a seamless one piece construction fort...not modular...all the pieces in this diorama are K&C products except for the fort...the palm trees and the tent...it was a long project...but it's finished for now...I will post more pictures soon...Andy did a great job with this series...probably more figures than most ranges....

That is awesome!!!

Who made the tent? Very cool

thanks Zach...I think it is made by Schleigh...you should be able to find them on Ebay pretty easily...they are very cheap and pretty large....but for a tent structure...the size is not critical and this one seems more than suitable in size...

Nice scene Mike and well done on building the Castle. Is it based on any particular one ?

Steve...thanks...

no...not based on anything really...just a 4 tower...4 wall fort...

I collect JJD Sudan Gordons/Bejas/Mahdist (100 figures)...TG French Foreign Legion Arabs and Legionnaires (150 figures)...probably more suitable for this type of fort...but didn't feel they could adequately fill this table...

I chose my K&C Crusaders/Saracens as I have way more volume in figures in that collection to fill this diorama...

great job on that Fort Mike, hoping you will post some closer pictures, and even the interior. Well done.

Looks great. The fort is a masterpiece. You can always use it with other ranges, but then you have to clear the table. We used that Schleich tent and K&C's Arab village with some other pieces in multiple dioramas. In 2009 the Crusaders attacked the village full of Saracens, then we took away all the figs and the 8th Army attacked the AK in 2010!
Great colorful Dio. Way to keep the soldiers fun.

Great work! Thanks for sharing pictures of your finished piece with us!

more pics of the figures in front...I will take some of the fort...interior and exterior...the ramparts...the figures on them...

Very nicely created scene enhanced with the superb fort. I also like the arrangement of figures outside the tent. Well done. Greg.

Mike,
A very colorful series indeed. You've made a great looking fort. I can't wait to see the interior.
