I built and painted these 1:8 scale models for my son Alec, how did I do? (3 Viewers)

I really am going overboard, guys.{sm2} I found a 1:6 scale pair of puttees on ebay for $2.99, and bought them, figuring, I can wind them aroung the existing turban, and make a fuller, more realistic turban for Hadji.{sm4}

The puttees arrived today. I took one, folded it in half lengthwise, carefully wrapped it around Hadji's existing turban (it took several tries to get it looking right, then tied it off (that also screwed me up a couple of times, forcing me to re-wrap), and cut off the excess. I stole a red fake jewel off of one of my daughter Ashley's old princess tiaras, and glued it on the front. Hadji now looks as perfect as I can get him (unless somebody wants to sew me a tiny Nehru jacket:rolleyes2:) and I am done with this project. I will take a final set of photos of the Hadji figure tomorrow and ask Terry or Brad to post them for me.:smile2:

By the way, anybody who wants to tie a tiny turban, I have a spare puttee I can give you . . . {sm4}
