While down a side street an argument starts when a cart full of amphoras is upset.

Bringing out the neighbours to watch the argument unfold, hoping like all true Romans for it to develop into a fight !

Seriously, Steve, excellent diorama. That Roman building is a fantastic centerpiece. Before seeing this, I was taking a few shots of my Praetorians. Will post later today.

Trying different layouts with the Roman street buildings and the Temple facade whilst I await the JJD Boudicca Chariot I've had Clive at Greygoose have one on reserve for when it's released since last July and hopefully now it has been released will come in the next few days or so and really looking forward to include it in many scenes some hopefully more humorous than bloodthirsty !
I'll keep a look out for your Roman scene.

Yes lots of fun setting the little fellas up in various scenes, telling little stories some more tongue in cheek than others, have to say it again that 3D printing is a real boon to the hobby being able to construct dioramas has never been easier or accessible.

My initial thought was the degree of depth you have been able to create Steve. Bringing all the facades together allows many photo angles. Like the Gold statues, they are striking. Really like this wagon, probably will regret it when they are no longer available and I did not get a second one. The back story also gives an insight to your humour which certainly is not lacking. Excellent. Robin.

If I had the space I'd gone for the full buildings, but having just the facades on all but the Fastfood shop does allow for taking photos through and for the Butchers, Shoemaker / Cobbler and the whatever I fancy at the time shop I have made backwalls that I can easily remove if I want with bit's on them like some sausages hanging from a shelf for the butchers etc.
Tempting though it might be and if it were just a general purpose wagon than I would see the desire to have a second and even third, but as it is, not too many of those to be seen, unless you want to be safe in case of damage.
Added my other Minerva statue on the left hand side, this one I painted in slightly more garish hues to normal as if it was garish the ancients seemed to have loved it. Tastes certainly change over a couple of Millenniums !
Also on the left hand one though not seen at this angle she sports an Owl on her shield, on the Golden version she holds a Winged Victory who claps a wreath, this I echo in the (badly painted because I'm not great at painting,) mini shrine. The Gold statue was so easy to paint, just grey primer and some gold paint just slapped on with not having to worry about going over edges etc !
As to my humour, well it's already been described as favouring Benny Hill and Frankie Howerd and who am I to disagree !:wink2::tongue:
