I am sorry to report that our good friend Al Fisher has passed away. Steven Chong just obtained some Heco items for me that I immediately recognized as being from Al's collection. Steven told me that a widow was selling her deceased husband's collection. In asked if her late husband was Al Fisher, and sadly it was so. He was a veteran, and a good friend. The hobby is poorer for his passing. Rest in peace, Bosun Al.

When a collector dies, selling the collection becomes a thankless task so whatever the family can obtain is more than sufficient.

This is very true, I’m going to start cataloguing and boxing up my relatively small collection for sale. I’m not looking to profit and would like to move it all at once. Perhaps a dealer might be interested.

It's so sad when you hear about members passing. I know 99% of us will never meet, but I can honestly say I feel I know a lot of you out there, if that makes sense.

RIP Bosun Al. Payers for you and and for the family. We have lost so many wonderful souls in the last few years, very sad. Thank you for letting us know Louis.
