Nice Mitch. I also like to swap figures between AFV's. Great imagination on this one.

excellent and original idea behind this dio. Love your groundwork . I unfortunately missed out on the Chaffee. A real shame.

Guy...

Thanks the groundwork is all scratch built. The matt is a piece of green fake fur material from a shop in the UK called Boyes £3.99 per metre and then the original green colour is daubed with matt green paints and then when that was dry I used the same process using white as a light snow covering. The bushes are made from railway diorama litchen for trees and bushes and the bag costs £3.99 and I have managed to get 9 trees about 8/10 inches and 26 bushes from the one bag I also make my own armatures for trees and bushes from real twigs etc or from milliput. The rocks are from moulds and plaster cast and painted.

I am cheap and would rather make it than buy it. I am putting some pics up later in the dio building section showing them all in more detail.

Mitch,
for your bushes and trees I think that you have been looking over my shoulder, I do exactly the same. Another good way of making trees that fit into the Ardennes is to take a real twig, cover it in milliput , sculp it and then use the branches from "Faller" fir-trees ( model railway trees all seizes!!!)
