We all seem to have wish or want lists, often with many many items or subjects. Suppose you found Andy trapped in a Djinn's bottle, and you let him out in exchange for making one special product for you: what would you have him make? It can be a plane, tank, vehicle, set of no more than 6 figures, artillery piece, or even a diorama or building, made of any material K&C ever worked in, from wood, metal, resin or polystone for vehicles, to papier mache or foamtech for buildings or dioramas

For me it would be a wood and metal Panzer III special in Afrika Corp. markings, with hinged opening hatches (just like the old Tiger Tanks and Stugs he made in 1996).

What would you each wish for?

Nice idea Louis. A couple that come to mind:

1) German U-boats or at least bridge and partial deck made to look like it is at sea with various U-boat aces.
2) V-2 set up with launch pad.

Hi
For me it would be an update on the L.R.D.G chevy truck and SAS jeep,:)

Great thread idea Louis

I guess I would also like an LRDG truck and jeep set  - similar to yours Louis - but up to today's standards - or as many new arnhem sets as Andy would like to make!:D

Kevin

A Gerät 040 mortar accompagnied by a Munitionsschlepper für Karlgerät with their crews (between 16 and 20).

Pierre.

Horsa glider (mahogany, of course), with paratroopers to match.

The entire Normandy Alantic wall...just kidding. An Opel Blitz with removable canvas top and a tailgate that can be opened. Collectors would buy several of these to make a convoys or use it in different scenarios.

As Combat suggested, and I,ve often thought of it also, the U-boat bridge with some German crew.
If not that, how about a WW1 Sgt. York capturing some Germans.

Yeah, good choice.

My long time wish has been for a Kettenkrad and it actually is coming true!!!!:D

I would love for Andy to revisit the SAS group and do the Bren Gun Carrier to todays standards.

Bill, I really like the current Bren Gun Carrier from the D-day series. What would you do to improve it?

Michael,
I also like it but feel it could still be better with whats on the market today. Dare I say the track area. I would like to see more detail to the inside of the vehicle also. I just feel we are about to breakout in todays times with the HB line and the new John Eden stuff. The way the machinery and detail going into sets at this time keep improving the end result is going to be fantastic.

Would really like the Heinkel HE-219 Owl, night fighter and the Storch with a Kesselring figure set for the Afrika Korps.

Yeah, as usual, it is something that does need improvement. Can you imagine a K&C resin built like a FOV? I know it would be a great leap forward - another pun by the by, but I have the faith and trust in Andy that he is very capable of making the best miniatures in the world for the best price possible.

I believe Andy has said that if he makes planes again, he would make a Storch.

I second the U-Boat idea. How about some Operation Market Garden 101st airborne figures with M43 Uniforms. Plus some more updated personalities, Patton, Bradley etc.

To Andy:

LRDG Chevy Truck, LRDG Jeep, Opel Blitz Truck w/ removable top and clear windshield, M3A2 Half Track w/ squad crew (not glued), M3 White Scout Car, Marder, Dodge Ambulance w/ clear windshield, M32 Tank Recovery Vehicle (don't make a German TRV. HB has already one in the making), Ward Le France Wrecker, M-10 Tank Destroyer, British Matador Tractor, GMC Fuel Truck, Austin K2-Y Ambulance.

Ana, Blake, are you reading this thread? a lot of variety ain't it?

I just got a response from FOV that they are considering a Storch and Grasshopper in 1/32. They make great 1/32 airplanes... 2006 or 2007. Worth the wait.

Yes, but as you know, there's a big difference between mahogany and metal/plastic.
