In about the same amount of time . . . the Tiger Tank would have run out of gas in about 20 miles, and become a small metal fort commanding that location and having no other effect on the war . . .

I guess I would have to be an American paratrooper in WWII in the 82nd, so I could travel to Italy and it's islands. Also it would be kind of cool and scary to jump out of a plane for the first time.

Wow! tough question. Personally I would love to go back and see a Roman legion in action or maybe observe the battle of Thermopyle. But sticking with American tradition I think I would most likely want to go back and be a part of the Big Red 1 during WWII. I would love to say the 82nd airborne but I would never make it I'm afraid of heights, lol.
