Don't count those Chickens just yet Wayne;)

for those members who have no idea what we are on about, me and Wayne have a single figure bet on who will win this years Ashes series between England and Australia. The winner gets to choose a single figure from a current series in production. And as Wayne said., it can't be stood on a Tank or piloting an aircraft either!:D;)

Cant wait.

Yes it will be good to see some Cricket not tainted by cheating for a change:rolleyes:

Just heard Freddie Flintoff is retiring from all forms of Cricket because of knee injuries, he was a great player and a good sportsmen, his efforts in two ashes series were vital.

When its on at the WACA look for a sign saying Hi Rob or words to that effect...............:D

Newsflash. I have just received information that the K&C Single Figures Association is circulating a petition demanding they not be associated with this wager on a so called sporting event.:D

Terry

This is soooo much more than just sport Terry, this is more like religion!.And I say that on the day the Pope arrives over here:eek:;):D

I think he is stopping in at K&C UK on his way down to London, he wants some Life of Jesus figures and that German anti aircraft vehicle;)

Rob

Rob,
I would think Wayne will go for the new Sepp Dietrich or if mounted then the new Drum Horse.
Regards
Brett

Hey Brett, we ruled out mounted figures to keep the price down!:D;)

If a miracle Happens and we win again I may go for one of those Tank Crew who came with out alongside the latest Tiger.

Cricket is one sport I cannot fathom, with all due respect. When I'm out driving, I listen to the BBC Worldwide Service on satellite radio. If you ask why the BBC? It's the only place to get decent news and in depth discussion of issues. Anyway, they talk about test matches. What the heck is a test match? Do you mean these guys can't play the real thing and still have to take tests?:D

Well, we do have some games that go into extra time, i.e. extra innings. There was a game that the Mets played in Atlanta in 1985 on Fireworks night that went 24 or so innings and finally ended about 4 in the morning or something like that. The Braves management thought they could dispense with Firworks night due to the lateness of the hour but the remaining patrons demainded it so the Braves let off the fireworks. The people who lived in the area thought they were being invaded

Brad mate,
Clive, the Grey Goose and I will show you Yanks how gentlemen place cricket.
We with bowl a few overs up and down the hallways of the Hyatt. Probably outside George's room to control the traffic flow.
And then like gentlemen we will retire to the Bar, and the beers will be on Clive seeing as the Aussies will have just won the Hyatt Ashes.
Cheers Howard
