Mike it would be great if you could send me the imperial catalogs when you get them finished I will p.m you my address and everything if you can send them to me. I am interested in seeing more sets because I just added my first imperial figure to my collection earlier this week.

I would be glad to do it. I am waiting to see if Louis can find any of his Imperial catalogs before I start.

I found a 1993 Imperial Catalogue, and a letter from the propietor answering a question, but that's it so far.

Is your 1993 catalog in black & white? Does it start with set No. 29 in the upper left corner or is it the one that starts with set No. 19?

Mine is in black and white, November, 1993, starting with set No. 29 (a Zulu set) in the upper left corner, and has Town and Around stuff on the back of the back page. If you need it, send me a PM.

Heres the latest sets from imperial #147 7 th hussars and #148 18 th hussars
and a shot of a couple of napoleonic civilians .my poor photography doesnt
do them justice ,beautiful figures .

It looks that in addition to 147 and 148, you show an officer. What number set and description is he? I assume he goes with the Hussars. Can you keep us posted on additional relases by set number and name? I had on my list the first 146 sets until I saw your post. Thanks.

The officer figure is # 114, the Earl of Uxbridge. He was in overall command of the British cavalry at Waterloo.

Hi Dan

I,d be happy to post info on any new stuff that apears , these guys
had litteraly just been finished so where not even displayed in the
shop when I picked them up.
As Mike mentioned in his article they are running it on a much smaller scale
now so I would imagine the pace of any new releases will also reflect
that.

I had a question about a particular figure you have displayed in one of the photos on this thread. It is was one of your shelf shots of the Napoleonic range. What is the set number of the mounted figure in the photo which shows the guy on the horse in front of the two Polish mounted figures -- the drum horse guy and the trumpet figure. The guy has on a very ornamental hat and is holding a sword. Sorry if this is a bit confusing. Thanks.

Your not wrong ,thats what I love about the Napoleonic era
they where such a practical bunch. I cant where a white t shirt for
a day without dropping something on it.
A white suit on horseback only mr rorke [da plane da plane ]
could get away with that .

Rob, Yes indeed White is right out for me too. Thats why I went with the Army had to love the woodland camo uniforms unless it was a ketchup stain

I do enjoy the Napoleonic uniforms and you have to wonder how he managed to keep his whites white on campaign.

There weren't too many dealers selling Imperial at the Chicago Show last week. Bill Graver of Counterpane Toys from Virginia did not have a lot, Neil Rhodes of The Toy Shop of Washington, D.C. had about two dozen sets, Tim Coyle of Hobby Station in Kentucky had about a dozen sets, and Ed Gries of Relic Golden Amusements in New York had some odds and ends. I bought a pristine set No. 11 Captain Gilbert Mair and the Arawa Flying Column from Neal. I bought six sets of Indian Army lancers (Nos. 50 and 51a, b, & d) from Tim which appeared to be brand new store stock. Apparently, I had just missed picking up the "c" versions. I also bought four sets from Ed, which I already own, for resale. One collector showed me four of the early personality sets which he bought at the very reasonable price of $60 each; they had never been out of their boxes.
