London Bridge has just received a shipment of the latest sets from Imperial Productions.
It is so exciting to unwrap a brand new Imperial figure - especially when they are purchased sight unseen. I think that has always been my favorite part of my parents' collection. Well, that and the mini-history lessons that come with each set.
Anyway, there are ten figures from the new Town and Around series that is focused on the First Empire. They are stunning in their detail and colors. Vandilay has posted some pics of a few of these and Ron at London Bridge has asked us to take photos of them for their website. As soon as that is accomplished, I will post a link.
Also, there are two new sets of British Hussars, also posted recently by Vandilay. As most have said, they are quite nice also. It never ceases to amaze me that men once went into battle clad thusly.
So, another fine collection of figures from Mr. Cowe. I am so glad that he and his family have decided to continue to create these masterpieces, even if the output is far more limited.
Cheers,
Drum
