Staying on the trail they going slowly, too slowly for the new Lt who need to make up time for getting his course slightly wrong, if they were going to get to the coordinates for their extraction rendezvous on time.
What with the weather starting to close in and the point man stopping every few minutes, they were sure to be late. Looking back at his platoon he thought that they were too strung out and shouted to close up. A second later blood was pouring from under his helmet as he flopped forward stone dead, never hearing the VC open up.

No camouflage given to the VC, so you guys can spot all three of them {sm0}

You should do a full diorama for a big story!😁😎

All looks great Steve, I'll have to get some more vegetation to enhance my displays.

Another wonderful Vietnam diorama, Steve. But I am a bit concerned ... {sm2}

You have been in this "jungle" mode for months now you might be starting to get Trench Foot or Jungle Rot.
Have you had your Malaria shot? ... {sm3}

Cheers Matt. Even used with figures on a shelf it adds to the display. Other than the grass which is just the bristles from a paint brush painted green, you can get all the vegetation on ebay in their model Railway section.

You're alright Larry, I had a short break under the dry Sun with some Roman archers last week ! Long as I don't run out of dry socks and talc I'll be fine ! {sm0}

Cheers Mike, HaHa !^&grin Yeah, the socks humming would be the least of your worries ! Though you read of guys who had their boots and socks on for so long that they became attached to the soles of their feet and had to get them cut off. A painful experience I bet !

Steve

Cheers mate, love your dioramas too !

Forgot to mention in original post, if anyone was wondering the VC Sniper is the K&C one, just with the hat removed and the hair modelled from Milliput and painted.

Great scene, although I'm afraid that happened too many times in real life. Chris

Those who are older will no doubt remember this war in particular and the great divide it opened in its questions raised in parts of the population, in the countries involved and even wider afield in Europe at least in the West.
