Indian Wall for Durbar background. (2 Viewers)

Excellent Michel!
Those look top notch and add to what was already a great looking piece.

Now partially painted.
Only the central wall section is finished.
The towers and the other wall still need to be dry-brushed and varnished.

Michel, just found this thread  A 10 foot long display! Wow.......these walls and towers look just great, how many have you got to make?

Jeff

Wow, Michel, now it looks really fantastic! Your towers really enhance the look, and I like the color. It looks like a wall of huge sandstone blocks. It's going to be a really great backdrop, well done!

Prost!
Brad

Michel,
Classy as all heck! Beautiful, and I love the shape of it with the same stone dimensions as the wall. Can you fit some celebrants inside the towers? Magnifique!

I'm afraid I'lll need more than 10 foot..
So far 4 wall sections, 3 towers (not all painted) that make about 4 feet!
Still some work to do

Thanks for the comment!
Great idea! I'll see how to insert a platform in the tower.
Michel

I've started to replace my previous foam buildings by the new plaster ones.
Here are the first pictures.

I'm also working on a larger square tower but still need some days to complete the first one.

Michel,

There's a few hours work there but very effective and well worth the effort.

Michel

You should market this for all of us India collectors. Very nice job.

Michel, that is most impressive! It must be satisfying to see how your hard work has paid off.

Michel,
Congratulations on a beautiful set-up. I notice the Durbar procession is leading through the gat in the background. Please post close-ups of the gate:cool:

Thanks for all the comments.

Mike,
The gate in the background is still a foam building. I've some pictures of it posted in my albums.
It will be upgraded to a plaster building soon (soon meaning between few weeks and few months ;))
Next steps will be completion of a larger square tower, then a small gate to fit between two small round towers and then a larger gate to fit between two large square towers... so some work to be done.
Cheers,
Michel

I've heard of pink elephants (and may have even seen one or two myself after a nice evening with friends...) but GREEN elephants ????
What colour do you recommend to paint the walls as background for green elephants ? Blue ?? :D:D
