Actually - one of them is green! :D

Well if he's like me there can never be enough elephants!

Dave, I totally agree !
As says Moto Moto in Madagascar 2 'We like them big, we like them plumpy...'
Having small kids quite widens your culture :D:D
Michel

Well I am impressed with the quotes of Moto Moto:D I am glad to see I am not the only one who has had to sit through all of these kids movies. Looking forward to seeing more of your display!

Dave

That horse everybody is riding in on is having a pretty rough time of things when you consider the full quotation. Perhaps you should change to a heffelump?

After a long long time without update, here is a picture of a new element I made for the Indian Wall background.

It is a connecting wall wection which allow to connect together wall or gate sections and so to make long portion of walls without towers.

On the picture one is painted, the other one is still in the original terracota plaster color.

More pictures of other lements to follow soon.

Very nice Michel. I wish there was a way we could get something like this in a foam or resin so they could be shipped. I would love some for my Durbar display.

Hi Michel,

This is a rather splendid structure, all the better for making it yourself.

Thanks all for the comment.

Scott,
Do you know how I could use resin ?
Can I use the same silicone moulds I use for plaster without damaging them ?
What kind of resin should used ?
Can it be painted as easily as plaster ?
...and any other advice you might have.
Thanks,
Michel

Not really and 'Indian Wall' but the first element of an 'Indian Palace' serie

Hi Michel,

I wish I could answer these questions for but knowledge on the subject is 0. Perhaps Ken Osen can offer advice. Or how about selling the moulds so poeple can make their own out of plaster.

I'll open a new thread about that in the Casting section.

In the meantime, here is a picture of 'palace' castings made with various colored plasters.
I thought the 'Red Fort' should always be red but that I could try other colours for the palace. I'll post pictures once they are painted.

Had to find out what 'wishy washy' meant but I agree with you, not real green.
But the one on top is also green and not wishy washy at all ! But not very visible with the light in my garage that is not that good (still a long way to go before my wife agrees I set up my workbench in the house where it is properly lighted)
