This is Rick from Michigan Toy Soldier. These events actually occurred some years ago and have been in the process of restitution for some time now. I am deeply embarrassed and sorry about this situation. My wonderful staff had no knowledge of my actions. I am committed to restoring Michigan Toy Soldier and I hope you will support us in doing so.
I think I speak for most when I say that we all have the potential to make bad, or really bad mistakes, but that owning up to it is the best thing we can do. Though I have never dealt with MTS, I trust that they, including you, are great to deal with, and good people. Pay it back, plus some, yes. Prison, no. I for one think that it takes much more guts to admit it publicly to us here than it takes "bad will" to do the thing. I wish you luck.
I think what Uksubs mean is that when a forum member posts that he has been mistreated by an ebay seller the forum is a buzz. Members want the userid so they can block said person so he cannot buy from them.
Here things have been a bit more calm and sympathetic.
Oh...I soooo agree with this post!!! I wonder if K&C still sells to him???Man, I am amazed at how forgiving some of you are. I think the comments would be a little different if your customer trust and credit cards had been abused like this. I have to ask myself would this heroic gesture of admitting ones crime even had been posted if this had not been made public ? I find the whole incident inaccusable.

It make no difference he was a good customer or a bad customer you don't take someone else money that is a fact !I know first hand the difficulty of keeping a hobby based business afloat, but wow.
Peter Jackson was a customer of ours too. Really nice guy. And I bought some stuff from Rick too and had a genuinely nice experience.
What a mess.
I applaud Rick for coming on here to apologize but, seriously, how does somebody betray a good customer like that? These people trust their chosen dealers with their credit cards and all matter of personal information.
I hope this works out the best it possibly can.
Although in a free society we have the right to generally discuss anything, as guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitition, this thread discussing (and judging in the court of current opinion) a person prominent in the business who made a grievous mistake when there appear to be current court proceedings leaves me rather uneasy.
