Number 1 now mate but they won't win the next world cup,a ageing squad.

The next world cup could be any ones ,such is the joy of knockout tournaments .
The average age of the current AB,s is about 26/27 I believe so not exactly heading out to pasture.
The thing that has surprised me this year is they have been able to chop and change the team and
keep playing to a high level . No McCaw , Carter and most importantly Conrad smith in the centres last night.
Richie and a few others may not make it but Reid is now our best forward and Sam cane has been no slouch
at no 7.
The South African game was more intense at the end of the day this was dead rubber .

It is almost to the point where NZ should be split into two teams and made to play as the North and South Island. What hurts is that they would probably be Number 1 and 2 in the world!{sm4}

Yeah true mate but the problem we will have in the Northern hemisphere will be the refs............................^&grin
Australia will have a few of the injured players back as well there is quite a few out now.
Oh well got to win the ashes back first then the Bledisloe then then the world cup...................................^&grin^&grin (Double grin a man can dream)

Well Johnny it was a good game against Wales.
They gave the Boks a bit more than they bargained for.
Wales should do well in the RWC.

Just a wee bit disappointed - but an okay performance I s'pose. Injuries are looking to be a problem again though. Yes - looking forward to a good World Cup next time. just hope an adverse refereeing decision doesn't crop up again in the World Cup next time. (He missed an offside - which led to a try this time - again.) jb

Seems nothing can really stop them.

Well the Kiwis do need to have a least one thing that they're good at, sheep and Wellington boots just don't cut it..............:wink2::rolleyes2:

They did have a half decent netball team until there best player retired (A South African ring in).......................^&grin
