Is this a very rare TROPHY set? (1 Viewer)

I sent an email to Lyn Kenwood.
He had never seen it.
I think towards the very end there were some sets like the WWI bus which were released but as the company folded so soon thereafter did not get much publicity.

Thanks Damian

I know Lyn does have several Trophy NAP sets still "on the shelf" and as he hasn't seen it it must be pretty rare to put it mildly. The £281 top bid so far is also a bit of a give away;)

Cheers

Martyn:)

That is almost as much as the Hospital went for.
Still a few days to go.
I must admit I have never seen that set before.
It looks like a late set.
It has a round base.
I wonder if Len did that just towards the end of Trophy?
That is what makes it a bit sad as he was still churning out some new unique pieces when he suddenly went under.
With the current interest on e bay you have gotta wonder whether it would not be profitable for the line to be re-introduced.
Maison Militaire have redone some of the WWI buses , but in matt.

You just can't do Trophy in matte, just doesn't work for me.

Wow 562 GBP.
That is impressive
Some-one really wanted that set and some-one knows more than we do here about it.
Well done to the winner

That's a lot of scratch. Although the winner is supposed to be anonymous, it's a new ebay member by the name of Rodrigo Diaz. Well, congrats to Rodrigo.
