I can't sleep tonight - maybe too many Cigars today when I was driving the Convertible around on this glorious Spring Day in Washington, DC !

Oh well - got some new (old) stuff in this week and I have set up a new display - I call it .... At the Gates of Richmond !

Wow Ron - the "thunder" will surely roar now. A very nice artillery display. What is the brick archway in the background and who makes/made it - looks very nice as a backdrop for your figures.

Mike - I picked it up at a Hobby Shop near Louis' house on Long Island, NY - when we had the symposium. Andy Neilson of K&C fame was with me and liked it too. It is made of some type of poly foam ? - I believe Tim Tyler (Troops of Time) got the name and is going to check in selling these products.

It has lots of backdrop values from ACW to the new German Navy from K&C.

Ron, congratulations on your very nice display. I've always liked civil war artillery displays. Also, your backdrop compliments everything very well. 3:00AM seems to also be the magic hour that I soemtimes find myself setting up a medieval display, probably because it's so quiet at that time of the morning, with no distractions.

Only set I see you are missing is CS CSA artillery set, I got mine from Tom Dubel on E-bay would go well with your stuff if you can cram one more in. Great display as is though.

Is it me or have the adverage cost of these old Britains ACW set gone up in the last few months on Ebay !

I started buying these set because they were selling at a great price - then "bang" - everyone seems to have gotten the same idea !

The releases look good and are must haves - especially the Hospital Sets.

Yep - The Collector Showcase Artillery Sets look like they would go good with Britains - if anyone has some pictures to share of their collection where you have CS and WmBrit together - I am very interested in seeing them.

I do look forward to the 2010 new releases coming out !!

Hi Tom you sold me the Collector's showcase CSA artillery set I believe. I was the winning bidder on eBay. Ron check UK Rebs pictures he has the 2 types together in several pics.
