Wow, great looking whitewash. I don't have the CS Jagdpanther-Mitch, I'd welcome your opinion on it.

Excellent work. I love it. Winter camo is my favourite one.

Very nice work Mitch! It's always nice to see some repaints.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Mike...

I mentioned in an earlier thread when Neil sent this to me that I was very impressed and, passed on it when I first saw it because of concerns that it was in the larger 1/28th scale. For me, this has gone back to 1/30th and, the right move IMO it fits well with K&C and HB in terms of size and, mentioned its a little bigger than K&C's WSS59 jagdpanther which, you would expect as that was 1/32nd but, is fine in size with the new K&C HJ panther.

I have always liked CS and, the only thing I could not get my head around was the size of the Tiger I. This jagdpanther is a very nice set and, CS still produce great quality and value

Thanks much for your comments Mitch. I'm a big CS fan as well, sounds like this item needs to go on the 'to-do' list.

Another very nice repaint. My preference for whitewash is for the rougher less solid coverage which you've captured to great effect in a number of repaints.

Frank..

Thanks. I like the chipped worn look myself but, I am not in control when asked for a specific repaint. I don't mind this look as long as its not insane white

I've got to comment on this because I saw this Jagpanther at the show, & it may also be a product of scale creep.

Below see some old Panther models next to a 1/30 drawing, and next to each other. Because the model is 3 dimensionsal, I took 2 pics per comparison, on with the lens over the rear deck, & one with the lens over the front deck. The CS struck me as significantly larger than these & I'm wondering if anyone has both models to compare?
