Seems that like everywhere else, Hong Kong has New Years Day as a public holiday,

so maybe we will get the first DISPATCHES of 2015 on Friday 2nd???

Can anyone confirm that??

John

Would be a nice way to start the New Year. I would love to wake up with a cup of coffee and a little web surfing to see the January releases on Jan 2. Some Afrikakorps or British 8th among the collection? Perhaps? (wishful thinking)

Yep Friday 2nd of January is the go. Guessing WW1 figures not far away and Napoleonic given the big events for these periods in 2015. Robin.

I'm hoping for lots of new Napoleonic releases {sm4} as we lead up to the Battle of Waterloo bicentenary. :salute::
Cheers,
Brendan

I am kinda hoping for an American Half-track to be released in the first half of this year. The last one I believe was the BBA-30 it was a great looking piece, its time for the Normandy version to come out.

I am hoping for gray 88mm Flak, more Luftwaffe stuff and some Red Army AFVs.
Happy New Year 2015

A battering ram for the Crusader series.

A Pike and Musket Royalist Flag Bearer, Officer and Musketeer would make a great start to the New Year for me!

There should be the latest US "Bulge" releases, postponed from December. Maybe, perhaps, the Zhukov and Stalin figures that were shown at London.

And the sooner the better, needed asp for our dio...:wink2:
Wayne.

Absolutely mate, otherwise the beach display is going to look a little empty.....a bit like Bondi beach on a wet winters day{eek3}

I'm sure Andy and the K&C team are franticly sculpting & painting an expansive array of ANZAC's as we speak.^&grin

Have just received the two new Kiwi WW1 figures from Brett for Chrissy and they are the bomb.:salute:: You could use them guarding an officers tent, supply depot or similar, but a few marching poses wouldn't go amiss......hint hint Andy..:wink2:

I like the 1/2 figure idea for scenarios. The sandbags look to have good detail in the photos. Paring the 1/2 figures and showing them with sandbags with sandbags also keeps the cost down so collectors can have a line of foxholes. Just intersperse them with some trees and the scene can be many place in the Ardennes Bulge or Hurtgen Forest.

The new PnM figures look good too, especially the drummers and flags. I think PnM series is one where many of the figures can be mixed as the uniforms of both sides were so similar yet varied so cherry picking can be done. I like the earlier release of the Parliamentary gun crew with the gunpowder barrel as very realistic. But I still have some reservations about the cannon so I'm going to wait to see what the Royalist cannon looks like before I buy a cannon. I was hoping the new cannon would have come out in this Dispatch.

As for more Scottish Regiments from Waterloo - I'm beginning to detect a bias by the designer. Perhaps they had an oversupply of plaid paint
