Hi Guys,
Here’s a follow-up to ‘Storming The Fortress’... This one is another look at our Coastal Gun in Japanese camouflage.
During the war the Japanese made much use of all kinds of artillery captured from the Americans, British, French and Dutch colonies in Asia and the Pacific.
Most of Hong Kong’s coastal guns were dismantled and distributed to various island garrisons around the Japan’s new empire.
This particular one, because of its French origin probably came from somewhere in Indo China.
