Hey Guys,

When configuring coffee table and bookshelf battlefields, I always like having opposing armies. Initially, this was the Japanese (right) side of the bookshelf which displays the extent of my TG Japanese collection (14 figures strong):

I really wanted to display the rock/cave formation, so after reconfiguring, I lost a little space but ended up with this:

I can't help but wonder if TG will be designing some future Aussie or Japanese pieces as it's been a few years since we've seen anything new. 🤔

Yes, agree with Mike, yhe cave feature adds a bit of mystery yo the display, perhaps Indy is in there ! 😉
Oh, if we had more display space Rob !

Great scene Rob, the caves do add some 'mystery' to it. I have some Aussies VS Japs, Aussies VS Afrika Korps and Aussies VS Vietnamese on my 85 cm glass shelves but as you know, the space is limiting. I intend to change my displays but as usual with me I have recently realised I've taken on too many projects, and will mainly concentrate on home renovations over our Autumn/Winter.

As for more Aussies, don't hold your breath mate. I understand that TS sales have dropped globally over recent years, and I know a lot of long term Aussie collectors that have been cutting back and downsizing their collections, including myself. Some guys have switched to the 'smaller' high detailed 1/30 scale stuff, but those prices are crazy high. So in a nutshell, I would venture that the TS companies are more likely to produce sets they know will sell, rather than take risks with lower sale sets, a luxury they can no longer afford. And there is a war on, so there's that as well.

Rob, I think the rock cave gives your display more visual interest. Both displays are great looking but I like your current version best.
Thanks Mike, I really wanted to picture the rock formation but had to lose a few pieces to do so.

Thanks Steve. Love "that mystery". Had to laugh at Indy. 😄
Right on when it comes to space.

Thanks Matt.
That's disappointing to hear. I had some hope that TG would surprise us with a figure or two every so often.

Yes I like the attack on the rock cave vignette, a scene carried out hundreds of times in this war. Robin.
Thanks Robin, from what I've read, they were notorious for hiding out in caves.

Great photos of some of TG’s best figures.
Thanks! 🙂

Thats awesome Rob, is it a fish tank rock?

I was wondering the same thing?
Hey guys, it is. Picked this one up several years ago from one of our local pet shops.
