New arrivals yesterday: French 123e Rgmt troops GWF-23 and GWF-24 as well as Australian 60th Battalion, 15 Brigade, 5 Div GWA-03, GWA-04, and GWA-05 . . . .

nice additions Mike...are your shelves full yet?.........^&grin

Still lots of room for more additions . . . . . four of the 36-inch and two of the 24-inch shelves are still vacant. However, at the rate John is releasing his WWI sets it shouldn't take long to use this space up . . . . . and of course next month is the OTSN Chicago show which I will be attending and I already have some JJD items ordered for pick up there . . . .

Neat additions, this WW1 series by John is so good. It all ties in, really keeping collectors on task to consider every new release. Every scene has lots of add on's to expand to a 'wow' factor. Nice to also see it so well displayed. :salute::, Robin.

Some photos to share, showing the progress I have made in developing my British Aerodrome shelf display, featuring Billy Bishop's Nieuport and Roy Brown's Camel . . . .

Hi Mike,

Looks great with the second hangar; I guess that's what the numbers are for!

Very Cool,^&cool

The JJD display area worked out so well that several weeks ago I installed a similar shelf area on the adjacent wall for my W. Britain and Hudson & Allen collection. About two weeks ago I realized that the EASY TRACK system offers corner shelving and so I ordered a corner shelf unit. I installed the unit on Friday connecting my JJD display area with my WB display area and spent some time yesterday rearranging a few shelves. The corner unit worked out great and was very easy to install. The corner shelves are 30-inches x 30-inches x 14-inches deep. Eventually I plan to get one more corner unit which would give me three additional shelves.

Really looks great Mike. You really have a hobby room to be proud of.

Great display area.....But speaking from experience, you'll be running out of space soon! Watch out for dust though.

Pete

Very neat display area. Would no doubt feel good also at the moment, that you have some room for potential new releases and therefore continuing your collection habit. Keep us posted. Robin.

Current view of JJD display area since returning from the 2014 Chicago OTSN event:

Haven't shared updates to my display shelf in a while . . . . . . . here are a couple of photos showcasing some of my latest acquisitions and shelf rearrangements . . . . .

Looking good mate and good to see you kept the Allied and German airfields apart.

Just think in around a year you will be scratching your head where to display all the additions. John keeps producing interesting must have pieces, the latest being the pigeon wagon. Great to see your collection growing. Robin.

It's been almost two months since I posted any new photos on this thread. Thought its about time for a few more . . . . . . Here are a few pics of my German aerodrome shelf. Since the last photo I have added another GGC-10 German Hanger and also ACE-21P Lt. Werner Steinhauser which was one of the Christmas gifts I received. I also received 3 Treefrog Treaure gift certificates for Christmas, which I have already redeemed on a pre-order for the next round of JJD WWI releases that hopefully we shall see very soon.

Snowing and cold here today. Decided to spend some time with my TS. Here are several photos of my British Aerodrome shelf display which I took this morning. Since the last photo I shared, I have added BGC-03 Rolls Royce Armoured Car, BGC-08 Royal Flying Corps Sgt, JJDCC-2013C Capt Wm Stanley Jenkins, and BGC-03A Armourted Car Crew Member (which I received as a Christmas gift).

That's a great collection you have there:salute::. JJD's Knights of the Sky aircraft, figures, and vehicles sure are impressive. Thanks for sharing.
