Always great to see future releases and give something to think about and budget for. Interestingly last December a sketch of a Gold rush figure with a mule was shown and here we are 12 months on with the announcement the first of this series will be this December. Patience is definitely a virtue. . Thanks for your input Mike, very appreciated. Robin.

I'd love to see John return to the Napoleonic Wars, anything but Waterloo. Would like to see the French done in pre 1812 Barden Regulations for once, as well as Austrians, Prussians and Russians. - Tons of colorful uniforms. - The series could go on years.

Totally agree, Paddy. I’d also like to see a re release of Paris and some of the earlier figures that are now almost impossible to find!

Nice! Some colonial-themed Napoleonics would be welcome. I really enjoyed your article on colonial Napoleonics in the last issue of the Toy Soldier Collector & Historical Figures magazine.

I went to look at the previous advent calendar and noticed that 80% of the sketches had been made...
there is therefore a certain rigor on the part of JJD for this calendar and we can say that it is very reliable...
In the sketches whose sorties have not yet taken place, I noted the Germanic cavalry!
there is no doubt that it will make its appearance, certainly at the start of 2025 because the theme of the Germans continues to develop...
I always bet on a Parthian cavalry!
And perhaps an extension of the Egyptian-Hittite war with the Mycenaeans (from 1650 to 1200 BC ) who, according to certain sources, were part of the "peoples of the sea" (see my article)...
The Sea Peoples were a disruptive force in the eastern Mediterranean after around 1200 BC. AD
The Sea Peoples included a variety of different peoples, originating from different places, including probably Sardinia and Mycenaean Greece. The representations of warriors on the walls of the funerary temple of Ramses III at Medinet Habu resemble particular peoples, such as the Mycenaeans...
If you re-view my article and its images, their outfits are very particular with a shield in the shape of an 8 and domed on these two buckles as well as armor and a helmet predestining future Greek and of course...a war chariots!!!
my dealer made a request for a Libyan war chariot for the theme of the battle of Kadesh!
Let's hope it will be granted!

Nice Gary. Who is the maker? Manos? I think i had some Napoleonic engineers and Landsnechkts by this Argintinian guy. Same bases. So long ago, i sold them on Ebay
