Junkers Ju 88 (2 Viewers)

Hi WAYNE
Who made the panther that is cracker:salute::
Scott

It is a 1:35 scale model being sold on e-bay by a pro model builder....it might still be available....I almost bought this model...It is the BEST weathered, BEST detailed Winter Panther Model I have ever seen bar none{eek3}...If this was avaiable in 1:30 scale I would by it in a flash.

B-25 is slightly longer length and wingspan as well as significantly heavier fuselage.

The JU-88 was one of Germany's most versatile aircraft so the scope for variants and color schemes quite broad.

The JU-88! Couldn`t think of a better release for Figarti after the B-25, the Owl and the ME110. I would certainly sign up for one!

If Figarti makes a Winter Panther that looks like this 1:35th scale mode, I will buy one.....Now that's the way to do a winter panther

I agree with you. This Panther has very realistic weathering and I'd love to have one as well. But the question is how much are collectors willing to pay for that extra weathering ^&grin ?

I'm currently building the Revell kit of this plane in 1:48 with desert camo. I can't wait to get it done, I also have the 1:32 kit of HE219 UHU
in the pipe line for the next project. That should keep me busy for a while ^&grin .

The UHU kit is stunning in its detail. I have built that kit and the revel 1/32nd Heinkel which, is not a kick in the teeth away from the size of the £2,000 plus aircraft offered but, the detail is incredible.

Have you seen the offerings from Hong Kong models? I have recently bought their flying fortress in 1/32nd and its jaw droopingly good.

They have a Lancaster (I just can't wait for) pencilled in and have a Meteor and others in the pipeline. The Flying fortress cost me £239.

They work well with the aircrew released in this hobby as they are so big

Any pics mate ??

The UHU was a build for someone and the Heinkel which was initially for me ended in the same place as the UHU. My obsession with HB meant I buckled when a swap for the He111 and Some HB armour was put on the table!!! I don't have pics of them but next time I am down at my mates I will take a few.

I have not started the fortress yet with that numpty falling through my ceiling we are just back to normal here and have just got stuff back into the loft!!!

Yes I've seen pictures of the HK B17 and B25 in 1:32 scale. They look very very nice kits and seem to have incredible detail. I might get the B17 in the future. I believe they will be releasing the Donier 335 Arrow as well.
Aside from the cost of this B17, my other problem is to find the space for display if I decide to get it {sm4} .

I would be willing to pay "a little more" for an exceptional model:wink2:...I think the right question is what is the asking price??....Maybe they can arrive at a number that is FAIR for what is being offerred.:wink2:
