Evening Zach ... ?sorry for what? ... a nice collection and wonderfully displayed.
I am always a bit partial to the Backwoodsmen and Militia ... ^&grin

I see that you have the cart (with the Backwoodsmen) but where is the Dragoon that (normally :rolleyes:) accompanies the cargo. OR ... did these rebels do away with him and steal the cart ...{eek3}

Many Thanks Zach for the photos.

That set was one of the Stockton bank gift sets. From what I underand they gave the sets to high net worth clients originally.

I should note, I was not one of them... I bought it second hand

Spectacular diorama, something you can't take your eye's away from. Lots of different scenes come together splendidly. Well done Larry. Regards Greg.

..and here is my 'modest' AWI collection, both sides require reinforcements...

SO YOU ARE THE ONE!!! :mad:

There were a series of Stockton Bank K&C AWI sets that surfaced on Ebay a few years back. I was "OUTBID" every time ...{sm2}

But seriously, very nice sets, Zach.

THAT IS NOT MODEST ... THAT IS FANTASTIC!

So many wonderful figures and one heck of a battle you got going on there.
Super use of the Britains Barn and House.

That backdrop fits perfectly. Is that a commercially available backdrop?

BUT ... BUT ... on the middle picture, do I see TWO of the RARE BR060A Foot Dragoon Variations in the Middle Picture? {eek3} {eek3}

Yes Carlo......I agree with Larry. That is one fantastic set up you have there! I also spotted that rare BR060A. Wish I had a few of them.

Thanks for sharing this with us!

Very nice Zach. Thanks for posting these pics. I like the Washington's Guardsmen you have.

Dragoons on the March

Soldiers by King and Country
Diorama by the Honorable Mike Miller

The following shots are a few on my King and Country Dragoons. These were what was presented at the Historical Society.

A large diorama will follow .... {sm4} Hopefully soon ...

1) YES, Mike Miller made the Diorama base that I used in these pictures.
I will post TWO of his Diorama bases tomorrow.

2) The backdrop is actually a Model Railroad scenic backdrop by a (supplier) called LuLu's Trains. I purchased three from her a few years ago.
EBay has them once in a while but I believe she is no longer in business.

Hope these answers help gents.

Excellent diorama and collection. They are my favorite from K&C's AWI range. I have a number and paired them with some of the of native American pieces, but I never got managed to get the prisoner set. Still don't have the wagon set either.

Great reading this morning. Loved all the photos of the displays and dioramas. But agree that the Dragons are special.

Good Morning "6th" ... I swing like a pendulum clock on which ones I like the best.
Some days its the Hessians, some days its the 17th Dragoons and then the 42nd Scottish or the Backwoodsmen and Militia .... :confused:

I was VERY fortunate {sm4} to get a good number of the Dragoon carts (7 of them) when they were released. You will see the DRAGOON Diorama hopefully tomorrow. I did manage to find 3 of the Prisoner / Escort sets but would love to have one or two more. (YES .. I know there on EBay, but NOT at that price.):(

Thank you for the compliment. Hope you are enjoying seeing these as much as I do showing them.
