Capt. Roy Brown: "I think those leather chaps are quite slimming, Hermann"...Just havin' some fun, after a mock-up strafing run on the wife, while she tries to read in bed{sm4} Ollie.

Very nice! They look great together!

In reference to your signature:

Exquisite taste in aircraft you have there. WW1 aircraft just look so interesting with the sometimes awkward lines and the varied colors. These are fine models. -- Al

Ollie,

Three gems on a fold-up tv tray is one thing...being close to the edges is another...are those dog leashes hanging in the background^&confuse this whole photo shoot is making me nervous!

They look great together it is getting impossible to not get these WW1 planes.

I hope thats just for the picture!!!!! WW1 aircraft are indeed very nice
Mitch

Be careful, one of the planes is about to fall of the cliff
Nice figures
guy:)

Wayne: Get them before it is impossible!:)

Mitch: Yes, though precarious in nature as my photo shoot may seem, there is a, "protected zone," exclusive to my collection!^&grin

Guy: Indeed! Ty!

Ollie;)

Thanks for the pics. Those WWI warbirds sure are eye catching. I'm definitely going to have to save up a few bucks and grab one here and there in the near future. ^&cool

The all white Fokker DVII looks great Ollie. I'm looking forward to the K&C DVII's - and to some German airfield crew. May even get one of the new bell tents!I have the MVR and Voss Albatroses and I'm very impressed with them. The pictures on the website just don't do them justice - they have a nice weight to them, the colours are very rich and they have superb detailing. I actually prefer the 'factory fresh' finish of the K&C WW1 warbirds...............

I really do hope this is a range that grows and grows.

Hello Jameson,

I concur, the JJD Jasta DVII Goering is an extremely well done piece and I highly recommend it, notwithstanding this being the K&C section of the forum. It's weightier than other JJD counterparts. The squadron decals are meticulous, finite detail. And concerning the white colour, really isn't white as one would expect, rather a warbird weathered, antique-white. Initially, I expected the white might not be so appealing to the eye, instead was pleasantly surprised the moment I saw it in person, therefore, I had to have one. The bell tents you mentioned would make for a wonderful little vignette for this genre. I agree, the K&C factory fresh matte finish is very nice, but there is something about the grittiness of JJD biplanes that really appeals to me, and I would like to see someone come out with a Escadrille Lafayette or a Spad! Ollie.

Good call on the Lafayette Escadrille. JJD has done the Nieuport 17 mold for the Bishop plane, so change the paint and insignia and 'Voila!', the planes of the French squadron N-124 come to life. Chapman, Prince, Rockwell, or others would be outstanding additions. Or the Spad is an equally fine choice. Possibilities are endless. Be interested to see which maker, KC or JJD, will be the first to solve the detailed and complicated rigging of the Spads and bring them to the collector. -- Al

Thank you, Al...those are some great, thought provoking suggestions. It would be fitting, a testament aforementioned aircraft, and the pilots who flew them, properly venerated through this medium. Not to mention, I would gladly adorn my shelves with these beauties!
