K&C Naval Vessels (1 Viewer)

Everytime I look at this jetty, typical 18th or 19th century, it reminds me of the Boston Tea Party... what if K&C made an American Revolution ship?
:cool::cool:

Another cool possibility would be The Merrimac or The Monitor... for all the ACW fans out there. These two have the advantage of being rather small and not so expensive!
:cool::cool:

But maybe I'm just a guy who loves old stuff...
;)

Cheers...

We finally are getting the Bismark and it will only take 35 to 40 of the jetty's to display it properly.:rolleyes:

Just curious, even if the War in the Pacific range was not a good seller, would a K/C made PT boat be a winner? Crew could be offered as ones and two man sets. Also, it would not have to be that large, as a near scale boat..Michael

Wouldn't it be great to have a diorama such as the attached pics? Endless possibilities for a naval series.

Re: "Jetties & Bridges"

Hi Guys,

I though you might like to see a couple or three little “set ups” Gordon and me did a few days back.

Using our new jetty (x2) and our upcoming footbridge we wanted to show how flexible it can be for WW2 and even Napoleonic.

Hope you like them…
Best wishes and happy collecting!

I must say the Jettys look great. It should be a lot of fun building a scene around them!

Andy,

Those jetties are good looking pieces.

The "upcoming footbridge" about how much will it cost, when will it be available and is the iron railing detatchable?

That's a very early type Eboat, they were smaller than the standard type.

Which would make it, very, dio friendly. :eek::)

I would have hoped the new structure would have been all stone. Your eye is drawn to the iron work, taking away from the scene.

I would have liked to have seen some "building blocks" to extend the lenght and depth for those of us with 30" shelf displays.

Does this mean we will see an E boat? The jetty looks great and it would make a great diorama.

I doubt it is an E-Boat. Figarti has been there and done that. Besides the E-boat is big. My guess is something from Dunkirk for the FOB range. Size limits the possibilities. The German mini-subs could also be a long shot. Salamander?

Here we go:

Dimensions
Length 35.4ft (10.78m)
Beam 6ft (1.82m)
Diameter 3.8ft (1.16m)

Re: "Jetties & Bridges"

My goodness, so many directions all at once. I thought it was difficult to collect land soldiers, then armour, then support vehicles, then different eras then....... Now we're moving on to conquer the sea and air? Then bridges, jetties, buildings, civilians, then........... What is a poor collector to do, soon I'll be in the poor house as I have no self control.
Seriously though, wonderful directions and I like what I see. I'm sure I'll be picking and choosing items from these new directions to support my collection. Great work K&C.

I was thinking the same Oz ;)
I was thinking of coping the scene out of "Where the Eagles Landed "with Michael Caine & the E-boat :cool:

Great idea UK, you could always save up for the Figarti version if K & C don't make it, but personally I prefer the later E-boat with the covered tubes. Btw, "The Eagle has Landed" is one of my favourites and included some excellent actors including Caine.
