King and Country Accuracy Issue (1 Viewer)

Everybody will be relieved to know Jack has been relieved of his SS set and his Turkish artillery
have found their new home. Seems like he can not take a hint and will not be collecting WW2 Germans
just yet.

Yes, it's done. I witnessed the exchange in a poorly-lit car-park. It didn't look dodgy at all.

Appropriately it was the car-park for a Turkish restaurant and we ate a hearty meal with Jack's new aquisition sitting on the table beside us. I think the belly dancer was very impressed with Jack's cannon!

......and what a fine cannon it is too:wink2:{sm4}

I would reply aggressively except for the fact that

1. You are a Texan so there is a 50 percent chance you are tougher than me.

2. You were in the Army (not the Marines but still pretty tough) so there is a 75 percent chance you are tougher than me.

3. You have been on active service so there is a 100 percent chance you are tougher than me.

So ... all I can say is ... very amusing PA{sm4}

You might be taller tho!!!

P.S. I knew you were going to be dragged into K&C WW2 someday! I might have some more Jerry duplicate sets you can buy if your interested???:wink2::rolleyes2:{sm4}

That happened to me in Thailand once...................:redface2:........:wink2::wink2:

Personally speaking i would keep the German gun.

To much info Wayne!!! {sm4}

Larso

You must have just caught it out of the corner of your eye because you ran to the cash register to pay first just in case the garlic bread wasn't free.

My thanks to everyone for enjoying this thread. Almost 1300 views and not a single deletion even for the discussion of cannons which was in questionable taste. Larso has issues but we humour him.

I did finally receive the correct artillery piece but did not learn my lesson and look in the box. It was only while opening it at home that I wondered if Brett had tricked me with another set. He did not and I am very happy with the result. An advantage of picking up an older piece is that by the time you buy it the price being charged appears a bargain! Larso married later and I think his wife took the same view. {sm4}

I do like the WW 2 German armour - late Western Front and early DAK but they are vast ranges. Once I started I would go Tiger, Panther, Jagdpanther, Stug, Panzer IV and that would be the better part of 1200 dollars and I would then have to look at the desert vehicles. Then I would start on the figures and it would be on. The only advantage is that I do not really care for the German half tracks so I could avoid those. Anyway - back to work for me.

Regards

Jack
