King & Country – Tales of the Tiger & K&C’s 210 Days (1 Viewer)

The brochures and leaflets that have been put over the years are collectibles in and of themselves. An old one (1980s) that I purchased several years ago cost me a pretty penny.

Actually - Call me a K&C : nerd, wag, rah-rah, rabid supporter - or just call me ROB ;)

But, I have been collecting all the K&C Collector Mags since they have started - which was around the time when I started collecting K&C figures. I keep them in a three ring binder within plastic cover sheets.

It is a nice little collection going. :D Fun to look at from time to time. Andy has a great eye for publications and promotion.

Ron, you're not seeing things as well then!??:D:D

The Collector Mags and Leaflets are a sure winner when it comes to advertising. :)

I haven't received any for some time  It's good I can read them on a website.

I have been trying to get some older ones I am missing for some time and agree at how much they can cost. Without it sounding strange I sometimes look forward to the leaflets more than the releases

The brochures and leaflets are not just something good to look at (although I do that too) but very useful too when I see something on ebay and need to make sure it's really old K & C. I have most originals of the brochures going back to the beginning. What I don't have, I printed from Bill Sager's site. I would encourage any serious K & C collector to do that. They're invaluable resources and, until Louis books came along, the only resource, other than asking Louis and Lawrence if something was K & C.

The brochures are (along with the two volumes of the book published so far) the best resource for tracking K&C production. I provided Bill Sager with color copies of all the brochures I had at the time a few years ago, which he has posted on his website.

However, his daughter rearranged the brochures, and Bill posted them with incorrect references on his website, so the brochures don't always match the dates he provides for them on his website.

I suppose this sounds like a bit of Vezzoff "Rah, Rah"...............

When it comes to Rah Rah, Vezzoff wrote the book on it; look up Rah Rah in Websters dictionary and his picture is next to it...............

I gave my grandson the 210 day.....oh boy.

That wasn't enuff though... he had me dig up all of it...now he want to be my partner , he said...:D

Without getting all Rah Rah which, I don't do I was scanning through the leaflet and, it comes more to light than when you get them sporadically, just how much stuff comes out from one manufacturer. I hope this is not a one of fron K&C as it was a great idea.

Rah ! Rah !

I do the Rah, Rah, for King & Country all the time and proud of it ! :D

I received the latest Collector today, Number 26, Tales of the Tiger, which contains a history of K & C's Tigers, some of the Allied armor that took on the Tiger (incluidng K & C's British Armor) and Tigers in the Movies.

It's one of the better Collectors that K & C has put out. Compliments to Andy and his team.

It looks a little bit different than DD 93, the Classic Sherman, and doesn't seem to correspond to any old retired Shermans, so it's a good question to which I don't have an answer.

It looks like the M4A1 (76)W. It was an upgunned version of the Sherman (76mm main gun) with wet stowage. I'd love to have it! :D
