KING & COUNTRY DISPATCHES -- April 2023 (2 Viewers)

Andy mate,
A great bunch of releases. The Royal Family range is excellent and on my list as multiples. Outstanding video also. Is it my imagination or are you getting younger as the days go by????{sm4} A great credit to Yourself and K&C Team for the complete sell out of the first NEW Tiger.

Looking forward to the upcoming releases of the Falklands Scorpion, the VN M35A2 Truck & seated Marines plus the VN M48A3 Tank.:smile2:

Cheers Howard

Me too Howard, thanks for bringing it up.

Especially, the trucks and passengers. I already have Collector Showcase & First Legion M48 tanks.

However, I'm really looking forward to seeing King & Country's versions and scale.

Yeah, I'm likely going to get their version too.

Carlos

Andy.......very impressive posting of miniatures! :salute::

Are those two new Normandy buildings I see in one of your photos?

Mark
The Diorama set on the left was released years ago. I reckon I have seen the other building around as well a year or two ago.

Thanks, Wayne. I'll need to add these to my collection at some point.

Very nice variety of figures.

I like the PanzerFaust team, but it would have been nice to have them as single figures.

Do we really need so many Queens?

Really looking forward to adding King Charles III and the late Queen to my small "CE" collection. Now which version of the Queen to pick!

On that last point, have thought that myself when i visited Brighton in England and San Francisco in the US.......joking

Choices are good, means more sales for K & C, as will appeal to a wider audience who prefer certain colours. Was not sure why there was a release of just Corgi's, but they will appeal to people who already have a previously released figure of the Queen.

Releases this month are small, compact but beautifully formed, not just the Corgi's. I see the End of Remainders list is back on the K & C website. Enough on there this month for my pocket.

Beautiful sets of figurines this month Andy. Thank you and God Bless the King!

Cheers,
Grey

Have to say I do like the look of the new SS blokes and the Tiger is a stunner. :salute::

The new Queen and Corgi figures look great, not my taste but can see the quality. but will not say never, used to think same about the Christmas K & C sets, but now have 6 and will be looking to collect the others. Andy did you think about doing the Queen with Paddington Bear? They were quite a double act.

Remember a comedian commenting when he met the Queen and other Royals at an event and the Corgis were there, he said they "overfed, pampered, spoilt and ill mannered"........."but the dogs were OK".

Great to see a return to Ancient Egypt. Ordered a sedan chair today.

SP126 “A Trio of Royal Corgis” (Set of 3)
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi was originally a cattle herding dog that hailed from Pembrokeshire in Wales.
Their fame comes from being the preferred breed of Queen Elizabeth Ⅱ who kept more than 30 different Royal Corgis during her long reign.
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi has been ranked 11th in Stanley Coren’s ‘The Intelligence of Dogs’ book which states that the breed is an excellent working dog.
In a family environment they tend to follow wherever their owners go and behave well around children. Besides herding, they also function as watchdogs due to their alertness and tendency to bark at strangers.
Because of their herding instincts they also love to chase anything that moves and occasionally nip at their owners ankles as this is what they were originally bred to do with cattle.
Among some of the names of the Queen’s Royal Corgis were Sugar, Honey, Sherry, Whiskey, Cindy, Rufus, Brush and Pickles … Take your pick.
