KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- August 2014 (2 Viewers)

Some of the RAF issues are pretty nice. May want to get a couple to add to my little RAF dio. Would love the building. Just not sure where I could put it.

I only own a couple of facades, hangar-fronts actually. But, how can an aviation enthusiast not be stirred by the men, metal and events associated with the Battle of Britain? I'm certainly glad that the epochal months of 1940 continue to draw the attention and support of collector and manufacturer alike. Now, I need to find myself a nice, green MG to park outside "the club."

Excellent post^&cool

Can't wait to start getting these.

Has the Gloster Gladiator been done at 1:30?

Did it play any role at all in the Battle of Britain??

Not sure of the historical accuracy but it would look pretty stylish parked outside that cricket club.

247 Squadron had them but they they rarely took part in combat op's or scrambles.

Hi Moe, got to view the latest Battle of Britain stuff up close while in Brisbane and I can tell you the pic's don't do it justice. The cricket club is really vey good and the figures etc make an awesome display. My personal favourite was the Bren-gun set, but to be honest it's all good stuff and looks so good with the Spit and Hurricane.

Not fair Andy......with an ever increasing effort, I've just been managing to resist the urge to collect the 'Grey' stuff, but then you go and produce that very cool flak-gun AV and now the little soldier/girl set....there goes my budget again.{sm4}

You'll be right Toddy, just pull a couple of double shifts and you'll be in "grey" heaven!!!!{sm3}

I have a Gloster that K & C did in wood. Superb model.

WOW, fabulous new Crusaders! These are some of the best Crusaders to date. The two mounted pieces are especially nice - very dramatic, animated poses. Just fabulous! I already have a spot for every one of them in my diorama. I can't wait to get every one of them!

Look forward to them in your dio in some updated pics mate.

Do we assume those Ancient Egypt facades are about the same height as the palace facade from yrs ago? I am so screwed with this release!

I assume you mean lack of room to add to your display...

welcome to the club...

I have no idea how I will squeeze these in...

The two Egyptian wall sections with statues (Wall Gods Set) would also make nice bookends if one is pressed for space in a dio.

Definitely a stand out month for dispatches........................Something for most everyone !

Great to see another version of the Pz 38t...of which I will be buying...Was hoping Andy would do one as an axis satellite nation such as Hungarian , Slovakian or Romanian...
Also like the Pz I variant...

Joe

Joe, The new Panzer 38(T) will go great with the previous versions, and the 35 (T) as well ! ^&grin

Wayne ,

I agree...The Pz 38(t) has some legs to run for Andy/K&C...It could also be done in a winter version , & as i have said many times on this forum , it could be done for any of the axis satellite nations...Really is a cool early medium tank...Kudos to Andy for doing another version !!
I can never pass on an oppurtunity to post a couple pic's of one !! {sm4}

I have been working so hard that I completely forgot dispatches yesterday. I just took a look this evening, and my eyes started bulging out of my head. Between all the incredible new releases for RAF and Ancient Egypt, I might have to start working even harder. WOW!!

Mmm prices are way UP with my local dealer,
-WS 291--179 euro
-WS 292 ---80 euro

Any others having the same raise (problem) in Europe????

Same I see on my favourite dealer web page.
Comparing WS291 with LAH149 for 170 euro it's a small increase.

In May i payed 68 euro for DD229 (2 soldiers, no bases), and now 80 euro for WS292 also 2 soldiers, and no bases,
thats a raise from 17% ( thats not a small incraise), if this is corect i think my days of collecting are over.
