King & Country Dispatches -- February 2025 (2 Viewers)

I received my new desert tiger yesterday. The tank is definitely a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. However, I am taken aback on how loose the tracks are.

When compared to the winter tiger that released in 2023 the tracks are tightly stung to the tank. But as you can see in the photo, the tracks on the new desert tiger hang and do not always line up with the wheels in between the tracks.

Is this a defect? Or is this normal with all of the new desert tigers?

Hi Pnadworny,
When I first looked at your images, I thought your new Desert Tiger didn't look right. I don't own either but have one of the new metal track Sherman M4s (Tonto). Did not recall the tracks sagging. In holding it up as you did, the tracks hang off the wheels of the Sherman roughly 1/2 inch around the middle/center, similar to your Desert Tiger.
The Sherman rolls very easy; however, and the tracks stay on the wheels pretty well. Perhaps other new Desert Tiger owners will weigh in.

Wasn't there a great dust up on the forum about the last African Tigers having the Afrika Korps insignia on them? On did I dream that? Those were the good old days.
........I don't recall that to be honest, but its been a while since anyone got sand in their undies and started throwing their toys on here......
