KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- June 2015 (1 Viewer)

I'll get the European version and put some Canadians with it. It was a well used recon AFV. Usually 2 Daimler Mk.II were paired with 2 Dingos to make a recon troop. Very welcome addition.

Terry

Agreed, might try and do the same Terry except in the Brit Guards Division. Perhaps even have 2 Guards Dingos with a Guards Humber and Daimler Armoured cars! Try and imagine in my dio pic's the Daimler Armoured car in place of the Cromwell Tank and an extra Dingo.

Would also like to pair 2 EA Daimler Armoured cars with 2 EA Dingos!

Tom

Hi Guys,

I just got back from LA this morning and want to thank you for the many welcoming and positive comments on the latest “DISPATCHES”...

Re “Risorgimento’s” little aside...Ah well, into every life a little rain must fall. Onwards and upwards, best wishes and happy collecting!

Andy

Great releases Andy, these German engineers come just in time for the dio in the making on my desk : "Inspection of the Atlantic Wall"
guy:)

As I stick just to Great War now nothing here for me, but the usual high standard dispatches as always.. :salute::..the concept of the German engineers is a very good idea and I hope Andy that you carry the idea across to the Allied side as well and more particularly some Great War Allied sappers and German engineers would be very welcome indeed.
Wayne.

while a lot of the releases had been previously mentioned in advance.. still some surprises especially the engineers plus barbwire and tank traps.... I liked the fact that K&C has re-released some previously difficult items to buy on the secondary market ie tank traps and new engineers plus broadening the Texas show only releases to limited edition via local dealers... this is going to put another nail in the coffin for some K&C resallers

Finally, a British Daimler Armoured Car! Ive been waiting on one of these forever!!!!

Cheers Andy, a welcome release.

Tom

Tom,
"Forever" seems like a long time ! I thought my wait for the Oddball Sherman was getting a bit too long. I remember speaking to Andy about it before Donald Sutherland was cast in the role !{sm4}
Brett

overall a great set of figures. well done K&c!
I just wish the PnM canon and figures were different sculpts from the others. I totally understand the rational for making them the same though and no gripe really, more a wish

forever is waiting for the german normandy era fallschirmjager done with the right smacks and luftwaffe blue gray pants

I like the engineers. They look really good. Of course Oddballs Sherman is great too!!!!!! Makes me want to sing Burning Bridges!!!

The German Engineers are a Big surprise as well as "War Daddy". Very Nice ! Who doesn't Like "Oddball's Sherman !

I can already hear the music from the Sherman's speaker playing some country Music.

German Fallschirmjagers with the parachutes as was done with the D-Day American and British Para's.

At last a Damlier armoured car. The model looks a real beauty. Just hope we don't have to wait too long for its North-West Europe equivalent! The Soviets look good as well, especially the flag-raising grouping.

Really nice collection this go around. Interesting to see the Brad Pitt/Fury figure with the Kelly's Heroes Tank (with consecutive item numbers). I'm wondering if a Fury Sherman will be released down the road.

I esp. like the German engineer figures (nice variation from traditional gun wielding/carrying figures). Perhaps I'll explore as part of my Kriegsmarine jetty diorama.

Does anyone know if the bunker in the below scene is a K&C custom or can we hope to see this one in the future?

Especially nice in this dispatch, were the EA's Daimlier armoured car, the RA's Raising the Red Flag and the German combat engineers.

MK is bordering towards "mythical" territory and LAH's doing somewhat like Marvel Comics' "What If". IMHO, perhaps, a bit playing Russian roulette with these series and I guess it is up to whether it will latch on with the collectors.

I'm hoping to see it in Australia next month ??

What a great dispatches, with plenty of variety and a few surprises. Especially like the Desert Daimler and German engineers, plus like the look of the tin truck. Not overly keen on tin, but this model looks really nice and I like the idea of it being open in the rear.{eek3} The Commando's too are really very good.......great poses Andy, well done K&C.{sm4}

Stowage!
And three crew!
Reminds me of the good old days.^&grin

Is the vehicle commander in the forthcoming Daimler Armoured Car a full or partial figure?
