KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- September 2020 (1 Viewer)

Great dispatches! Particularly the Russian Naval Infantry were a big and pleasant surprise, order is in!!!

Many beautiful sets this month! Big surprise are the new Russian Naval figures.
I have placed an order for the three Vietnam figures.

Is LW087 the same figure as LW068?

Yes as are some of the other Figures,
LW90 = LW71
LW89 = LW79
LW88 = LW69

I like the new figures and think they will look good for Normandy, what next further winter German Paras?

Wide range of releases, the Russian Naval troops look good, Noticed no vehicles this month, mainly figures and a couple of dio pieces.

I like the look of the Russian Navy figures especially the one running on one foot. It looks like he will be a future release. I'm going to have to get some of these. The IDF look great as always.
Thanks K & C for keeping things rolling through a global pandemic.

What a pleasant surprise of diverse figures this month. I can't help but wonder what inspired the Russian Naval Infantry figures. I have always liked K&C's maritime-related figures and these new Russians are certainly no exception. Love the combat action poses!

The new Fallschirmjagers in Normandy are equally impressive. Love the camo colors and I can just picture these figures in a wide variety of dioramas.

K&C certainly never lets the Vietnam collectors down with the three new 'Nam figures and it's always nice to see civilians in the mix. The 105mm shells will be most useful for the "big guns".

IDF and new palms finish off September's assortment nicely. Now I just need to decide which to pursue. Tough decision with this month's dynamic range of offerings!

{bravo}}

Those Fallschirmjagers look great and I'm glad that there will be some fighting poses released down the road. I assume these would be perfect to portray the Battle of Bloody Gulch against the 101st, correct?

The Russian Naval Infantry look fantastic. I look forward to the future releases of the RNI too.

Absolutely, or Carentan, ....or in Italy - Monte Cassino for example where this continental uniform was also still worn ....nice to have the choice of these FJs done out in both tropical and continental camo !

Andy, is the desert village building displayed with the IDF a new one you have planned for a future release or a 'one-off' K&C use to display figures around?

Cheers Toddy

G’day Toddy,
The featured building with the Israeli troops is actually our old ‘Desert Village’ Temple/Mosque released quite a few years back...Glad you like it.
All the best,
Andy.

Hi Andy,
Any chance of the Temple/Mosque being offered again?
I was not able to pick one up when they were on catalogue and I cannot find any in the secondary market e.i. ebay!
What are the chances of a new rerun as the Desert Village sequence is still in vogue and much appreciated?
Cheers

Same here, cannot find one anywhere and have been looking for it for 3 years or so. It is one of those pieces, figures and sets for me, that collectors have, that are on my A list to get.

Thanks Andy & Mike, yeah thought it looked familiar, but couldn't quite place it.

I'm a big fan of the desert village pieces, statues, Oasis etc. They display so well and are so versatile.

The new new K&C palm set is another welcome addition. :salute::

So I was browsing the Treefrog store online and noticed that the new German Fallschirmjagers appear to be repaints from last year. I was wondering if there is indeed a variation in the camo as it appears to be? Anyone care to add some background on the camo variations for Nomandy verses other regions? Below are two pictures with the first figure from last year and second figure from the upcoming release.
