Since my initial collecting interest in King&Country back in August 2007 I have found that many of the LAH releases that were around at that time seem to command some very respectable secondary market prices on E-Bay. To name a few examples from my own personal experience: LAH lamp post set...original retail cost $21.00. Sold for $125.00
LAH standing flag bearer....original retail cost $32.00 each. Sold for $75.00 each
Marching blood flag bearer...original retail cost $32.00. Sold for $90.00......Just a few very valid and real examples.
In addition many LAH items put up for auction in which I have watched and viewed have also commanded very respectable return on investment prices. So........my question to the Treefrog community is:
Do you think this was a thing of the past,or are there some current LAH releases which have the potential for a healthy return if the desire to sell presented itself. Me personally I feel there are several good examples of products currently still available at retail which have the potential to do well.
Now to address the underlying issue in this thread which some may bring to surface. I collect these miniatures for my interest in WWII and having the ability to have scaled down well made examples of the men and materials that were used during these epic and historic conflicts.A small museum if you will. If this all retains its value over time and in many cases increases in value as time goes by and scarcity comes into play well for me.....all the better. Cheers. ^&grin
