King & Country -- May Dispatches (1 Viewer)

Very excited about the new 1967 Israeli/Arab War series. Of course I want to see some Arab/Egyptian opposition and more tanks and vehicles!

One comment, with all due respect to K&C's great work, the Israeli female soldier could have been better looking!
I spent a summer in Israel in 1970 working on a Kibbutz and the Israeli army girls were gorgeous. LOL

Once more Guys, Thankyou for your kind and supportive words!

And don't worry 'NY'...the next Israeli female soldier you will see will be much prettier...and a darn sight sexier!!! That's a promise.

Best wishes and happy collecting!
Andy.

LAH216 “Veteran Mountain Guide
The Nazis in Bavaria gathered about them a wide range of country and mountain folk who already had very right-wing views even before the NSDAP came on the scene!

LAH217 “Brownshirt SA Standard Bearer
Even in conservative, right wring Bavaria the Nazis had their violent opponents... hence the wooden baton held in the left hand of this Standard Bearer.

LAH223 “SA MANN Brand
“SA MANN Brand” was a German film made around the time Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. It was released in June 1933. This brownshirt is on the street promoting it.

In that period in time if you weren't in the NDSP you were ridiculed and ostracized. At those big rallies everyone was a Nazi. Too bad Andy couldn't make little armbands that one could remove. But re-painting is always an option.

That's not quite true. Only around 10% of Germans belonged to the Nazi Party. Obviously, after Hitler came to power you had to demonstrate allegiance to the Party but only a minority actually belonged to the Party.

That is kind of what I was thinking. In the early days especially there would have been some not in the party or attending out of curiosity. I understand the armbands on obvious pieces, such as someone giving a Nazi salute, but to get someone in the traditional German attire without an armband would be nice for us not into the Nazi party/rally figures. I think I will buy one of the women serving beer though.

I like the female Israeli soldier. She is attractive enough but still looks like a soldier. I think it is a great piece. However, I will defer to nysoldiers, since I have no firsthand experience with the Israeli military.

Forgive me in advance for replying to this comment but, in all fairness, I think it deserves a response...
According to 'Zulucollector',"This is one of the least inspired monthly dispatches in a long time" and "It seemed like a hodgepodge of fringe ideas."
Do you my friend know, care or understand just how much time, thought and effort by a whole team of people goes into every single month's "Dispatches"..?
While everyone has an opinion on everything...Is it fair to dismisss a broad and inclusive and, I truly believe, original collection of figure ideas such as 'The Six-Day War'...'The Robin Hood Additions'...'The Dismounted British Tank Crew'...'The Berlin '38 add-ons '...'The WW2 Civilians'...and much more...with just a casual and flippant dismissal???
NO OTHER company in this hobby designs and produces the broad range and variety of figures, vehicles, aircraft and accessories than K&C and on a regular monthly basis...month after month...year in year out.
Obviously, we cannot please every collector out there and all of us know that is impossible anyway BUT to have one's work of so many months so casually dismissed is simply unfair and unnecessary!
Best wishes and happy collecting!
Andy.

Great work as usual Andy !!! just ignore the negative comments always coming from a small group of people . Carry on the good work. !!!!!!
guy:)

I moved out the hobby for a little while because I had collected all the special forces and was wanting more modern figures from k&c. Now I'm back into it, I can not wait to get the idf figures, so happy 🤗

After reading this funny new psychodrama {sm4}, I can say that I really like both the mountain man with a pipe and the one with the glass; great figures!.....In both of them, I would cancel the swastika, and I would make a nice little diorama with them only.{sm3}

35 $ figure is a good price to attract new collectors or recover old collectors dissatisfied with price increases.

I think it's a great ensemble of releases, something for all tastes and if there isn't for some, we happily wait for next month. Although if I don't get some fw gas attack victims, more injured 101st and Leiutenant george soon I'm going to get very bitter and twisted and start to pick faults wth the super work all at K&C do. I jest of course, they're a joy to collect and long may it continue.

One 6 day war "value pack" and one additional Sherman now on order!!!! I can't wait for these

Certainly appreciate your passion, however did not expect such a heavy handed response. I did not realize collectors who spend their hard earned money were not allowed to have opinions that differed from yours. Take both the praise and the criticism with a grain of salt. While I certainly appreciate the efforts that goes into a monthly dispatch especially at a time when others are cutting back and delaying releases, I will stick with my original view that is was fringe or at least underwhelming month. Best wishes and keep producing! Jay aka zulucollector.

How can you only have one tank! I mean really now! Haha

Thanks for your reply Jay...You are totally correct on one particular point...I am passionate about this hobby in general and K&C in particular!

It has been my life, work and favourite past time for almost 40 years. In that time I have taken all kinds of criticism...constructive mostly but occasionally not so. If I seemed to you to be 'heavy-handed' in my reply it was simply because your original comment was, as I said then, so casually dismissive of a lot of people's very hard work and efforts that simply did not meet with your approval or appealed to you.

Best wishes and happy collecting! Andy.
