Brad,

Can't thank you enough for posting all these pictures of this year's show! Hope to make it in 2018 and get to see you again!
Best,
Carlos

(the photos of all other manufactures you posted on other threads are also terrific!)

Yeah Brad, thanks for taking all those great pictures. Be sure to take photos of our fellow Tree Froggers. Its always good to see people enjoying themselves.

That looks like a Springfield 1903A

Scott

Sorry Scott...That rifle is quite clearly NOT a Springfield '03 but...an M1 Garand ... In our two 'SPR' sets...Three of the soldiers are carrying M1's...Only Pvt. Jackson, the bible-quoting sniper,is carrying an '03 Springfield with the special scope.
Andy.

Elsewhere, someone spotted some Russki posters...These were left inadvertently on the display after a recent photo shoot when the dio had German Wehrmacht invading a Russian town...Posters now removed...Thanks!

An 1903 Is not an 1903A3. It is a model all on it's own with different sights than the 03, A1, or A4. Also Jackson does not carry an '03' He carries a Springfield 1903A4. Thiught you'd have kniwn this as you're the one who made the figure?^&confuse:salute::

And as for it being 'clear' it's not. The rear sights on the rifle are quite odd or it maybe the angle of the photograph.

I own 5 garands and am in the process of creating a Journal discussing all M1 Garand Manufacturers Parts and how they are comparitively different from others. That does not look like a garand rear sight at all.

Scott
