Jeff,

Nothing sort of amazing. You are (huge understatement here) a highly skilled painter. My compliments.

Hi Jeff,

Outstanding! Your talent seems to have endless depth! Beautiful job! Thank you so much for including us in the process of completing the painting of this set. You have done a terrific job!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Thank you all for your compliments and I am looking forward to posting photos of the complete setup later today.

Jeff

Well here we are (finally) with the end result. It’s been fun and I hope you enjoy these last few photo’s as much as I had painting them.

Some close(r) views showing the Trace Harness arrangement. Brad you will have to make note as and when you set this up. As you see the completed set is just about 18 inches long.

Jeff,

Many thanks for the step by step. The finished product is fantastic and I've enjoyed watching the project develop. I appreciate the time you've spent posting the photos.

What's next? :D

Simon

Jeff,

Noted as long as the pictures don't go away.;)

One thing we'll have to discuss is shipping.

In the words of that great almost sage, Red on That 70's Show, "Holy Crap." And I mean that in a very good way. What a neat process to have watched you go through to make such wonderful pieces. I admire your skills.:):):)

Cheers Michael :) I'm just sorry that it took longer to finish than I first thought.

Whats next? LOL.........I don't know? Joe (The Lt) has got some nice Zulu castings which I belive would make a good 'How To' subject, perhaps we can persuade him to have a go?

I appreciate the interest and the comments that yourself and others have posted......Thanks.

Dear Jeff,

Are you using gloss oil paints? What mfg....Are there gloss paints available in latex..My eyes do not work the same and if I were to use oils, it would take me forever, because of all my ,for sure touch ups....I find, to merely spray gloss a matte figure, does not give as satisfying an appearence....Wonderful talent. Michael

Jeff what can I say that hasn't already been said the proof of the pudding is in the finished work. Extremely well done and an eye catcher. Got a couple of other unfinished figures I'm working on and as soon as I finish with them I'll give the step by step a go at it. Once again Jeff thanks for the time and effort spent and sharing it with us. Brad looks like your going to be one happy camper once their in your hands........The Lt.

Michael.

I just use Humbrol Gloss straight from the tin.

Thanks

Brad.

I am going to wait another week for the paint to thoroughly dry as we don't want bits of tissue sticking to the figures. Then I will post them off to you.

Well, the paint has dried and they have been packed ready for shipment (once the postal strikes have ended) so hopefully a week to ten days and they will be in their new home.

What's next?.........maybe an Elephant!
