Thanks Pat and Simon.

The next stage will be fiddly but hopefully in the not too distant future we will be there!

Was waiting for you to finish your painting but couldn't wait to say what an outstanding job you've done and along with the others looking forward to seeing the final results......The Lt.

Thank you very much :)

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished set as well as this is taking far longer than I first thought due to work etc getting in the way. I am only spending the odd hour here and there painting........But we are getting there!

Jeff

Can't beat an 'all-action' paint brush. Looking forward to more on the project.

Simon

LOL. Simon, work has been a pain lately and so haven't felt like doing any painting, but I got going again this afternoon.......so anytime now I will in a position to post more photo's.

Jeff

Arghhh.......me eyes are knackered and me ears are grizzled!!

But here is the latest on the riders.

There really isn't much to complete now, only the breeches, boots etc and the buttons!

I will get hold of the better camera for the last series of photo's, I can't cope with the crap one I'm using at the moment.

Hi Jeff,

I think you are doing an outstanding job of painting! The figures look great! It is obvious to me that you are a man with great talent. Thank you for sharing that talent with us!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

I'll echo Pats words. Nice job on the detailing Jeff. I can understand why your eyes are frazzeled.

Simon

Pat & Simon.

Thanks :)

Just a few more licks of paint and the riders will be finished, ready for fixing to the horse's saddles.

Talking of horses, I am not too happy with the green colour on the bases so will give them a second coat. Then the job of attaching all the traces for the final photo shoot.

Jeff

Jeff, great work on your paint jobs. That is a lot of detail, that project is comming along great. Mike:)

Good news on all fronts!

The riders are finished :) and I have the good camera :)

I have given the bases of the horse team another coat of green, so tomorrow when they have dried I will post photo's of the completed set up.

Last one for today.

Now the painting is finished all that is left is the final assembly of the horses to the trace chains and hitching up the limber and gun.
