Since I had my winter scene out along with the CS Tiger I (with HB crew), decided to make a scene with the K&C winter T-34. This time instead of the Tiger being disabled it's the T-34.

The only thing I find missing are dead tankers {sm4}

T34 once hit for the crews are a sure goner....

Excellent Duke, but maybe the scene would look better if the T34 turret was blown off and lying on the ground next to the tank. Take the pic's so they don't show the turret mounting hole.

Tom

Always great to find with a set up, it often inspires the use of additional pieces to create yet another scene. Also helps to justify the purchase of some items if you can find a way to display them. Winter not my thing, but enjoy looking. Robin.

Another beauty Duke,youve got me wanting 1 of those TIGERS it look better painted (More winterized) than my one.
I can't even find mine on the website.................^&confuse

Thanks DM101, Tom, Robin and Wayne. Here you go Tom on a couple of shots of a blown off turret in varying degrees. :)

Expected outcome when facing a Tiger, like the progression aspect. Robin.

Much better Duke . I prefer the 1st picture with the turret slightly inclined
guy:)

Duke, Love the scene that you created. Here is one I did a while back. Nothing like a T-34 with the Turret blown off :wink2:

Without wishing to hijack these great pictures, were many tankers wounded in combat? Pictures of knocked out tanks always seem to suggest (to me anyway) that you got home without a scratch or you did not get home at all. Thoughts?

Hi Jack, got to know an Iranian bloke quite well a few years ago, who was a 'tanker' during the Iraq/Iran war back in the 80's.....he reckoned the only reason he was still alive today was because he'd seen out the war by commanding a tank. He described how his tank would often get peppered with small arms fire and the occasional shell, while the infantry around them would get wiped out to a man......sobering stuff really, he used to get quite emotional about it, but as he said he was conscripted and he did as he was told or it was a bullet in the head for him and his crew.

He lost a lot of family and friends during the war and has plenty of scars to remind him.

Now for some battle damage and scorch marks on the tank hey Duke. {sm4} Just kidding, very good mate {bravo}}

Tom

Sure that with a tiger in front, a T34 had no chances....{sm3}

What about if the Tiger was in front of the T-34 but the rear of the Tiger was facing the T-34 ^&confuse A shot to the rear of the engine compartment {sm2}

Going by what I've read written by tankers, that being Germans in the desert or Americans in Europe, ...if... the tank didn't blow up when hit, chances are somebody close to the impact area lost a body part. Usually only one out of the crew

Duke,
Nice set-up! The HB winter tankers go well with the CS Tiger!
