Very nice Pat, thanks for the pictures. The detail is amazing.

Scott

Hi Scott,

Yes, the detailing is quite amazing. The wonderful detailing, as well as the subject matter, are some of the reasons I am so drawn to this series. I am glad you have enjoyed viewing the figure!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Pat,

That is simply amazing. Did you get that this year or has that been in your collection for awhile?

Hi Brad,

No, I did not acquire the figure this year. It has been in my collection for awhile. However, I have recentlly acquired a new figure and I will post pictures of it at a later date. I think you will like my new figure as well as the one you just viewed!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Gentle Friends,

As the Holiday Season is unfolding, I want to share another of my Kool Kansas Knights with you. This piece is manufactured by Medallion Miniatures and is another figure in their impressive Grand Carousel line. The figure you are about to view is Medallion Miniatures, set #FR3Q2, The Prince of Conde. The Prince is dressed as "The Turks, circa 1662." The Duke of Conde is one of my favorite figures and I find him to be very, very unique.

As you know, the Grand Carousel Series is a limited edition (limited to 100 figures) and numbered series of figures. My figure is number 15. I hope you enjoy viewing him.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Many thanks Pat what a great item and thank you for sharing it with us.

Gentle Friends,

For a number of years, I have enjoyed an interest in learning about the Native Americans of Meso-America. Much of my interest has centered on the culture, and customs of the Aztecs, who, as you will recall, were ultimately conquered by the Spanish Conquistador, Hernan Cortez.

The role of Cortez in defeating the Aztecs, the wealth Cortez secured for Spain, and the impact of Cortez on Mexican history are most significant. Consequently, it is with great pride that I have Cortez represented in my collection of Connoisseur figures. And,...I thought you might like to see him.

Found below are some photographs of the figure of Hernan Cortez, as presented by Medallion Miniatures. He is shown wearing his parade armor and carrying his parade flag. I hope you enjoy viewing him as much as I enjoy presenting this Kool Kansas Knight to you.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Hi Ron,

The figure is a limited edition item (limited to 100 numbered pieces) produced by Medallion Miniatures. All the connoisseur figures produced by Medallion Miniatures are limited edition figures and once the limit is reached, the molds are destroyed. They make extremely detailed and magnificantly painted figures. Thanks for your interest!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Hi Tim,

Ha! :D Let's just say I have only a few more of these figures to photograph and post. I could not possibly have many remaining that you have not seen!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat ;)

The detail on the Medallions is incredible, almost incomprehenisble how the artist can do something like that. Quite amazing, to say the least.

The detail and quality of these figures is amazing and the Cortez model is one of the best yet. I hope you have several more to post.
