Hi Guys,

I just got back from Texas last night and today is my first day back in the office.

One of the things I was most looking forward to seeing was the painted ‘masters’ of 3 x small, 2-man sets of Viet Cong and NVA soldiers that were about to go off to the factory for production and release in a few months time.

Here you see them attacking a knocked-out, disabled M113... A lone Marine rifleman makes every bullet count as he makes a defiant ‘last stand’ against the advancing enemy.

Semper Fi!

With that amount firepower against him, I don't think he will be standing for much longer !!!!!!

Nice to see the camouflage on the Vietnamese troops, they look like sheaths of rice ???

John

Looking forward to the release of these new NVA & VC to join their comrades.

Well done Andy hopefully the release won't be too many months away.:salute::

Ditto on all the positive comments, Robin, Andy.
Two wonderful dioramas show here, both different and showing different aspects, but still worthy off high praise.

Robin, I love those sandbags items. Where are they from, what did I miss????

Sandbags were from K&C Australia Light Horse series quite a few years ago now. Set of curved and straight, work fine for me, but I have had pointed out the Vietnam style would have been flat topped, no doubt this is what Andy has in mind in his upcoming release. Robin.

On reflection the sandbags were under the diorama section and were in a set of two, either straight or curved. At the time of release they were for the Turk gun to make a defensive position. Guessing around 2012, these have been handy in lots of my displays. The short sandbag in the middle came with a Australian Light Horse jumping it. Good to be finally using them in a permanent display. Robin.

Thanks, Robin ... I am not sure how (or why) anyone would criticize (or really care) the use of a sandbag being flat or not ... but!
Still really nice.

I'm with you Larry, to me a sand bag is a sandbag. {sm4} I'm just pleased to see all the great Vietnam era dios being shared on TF.:salute::
