Now we need Little Legion and WBritain to make a Rocket Battery.
Agreed, you can never have too many Rocket Battery sets.
Cheers

Morning Folks,Still getting used to this computer business, looking at the photo of Martyns huge pile of Trophy boxes ,and I thought second mortgage, selling the missus to some elderly Arab sheik,or checking if 80 year old rent boys were in demand. You must have one of the biggest Trophy collections about.During our last phone conversation I mentioned the state of my garage, looking a bit like Chenoble, its been pretty cold here this winter arranged for some help in the Spring to get it all sorted,if we unearth any thing of interest i will let the Forum know, that just leaves the loft to get sorted Does any of our member/friends know where the name Trophy came from, answers on a post card please !!And how about the story of the "Gay Gordon"this has to be the rarest of them all.
Regards Len
The trouble is with the lack of any new sets coming on the market anytime soon whenever sets appear I have to grab them with both hands
Well, Martyn,
Sorry but I think quite opposite: there are still a lot of wonderful sets sitting in peoples' collections/ accumulations: you just need keep on looking and asking around.. for example I got another small Trophy collection last week (will post pictures later)...
I do not think that eBay prices hype shows the trend on the market: just about 5 the same guys are bidding against each other all the time. I wonder what gonna to happened with set "N6" when all 5 bidders got what they wanted
Just my two cents.

I wish those other guys would stop outbidding me most of the time.
Brian
Well Brian, give them some time... I think most people did not realize yet, that Trophy made these sets in HUNDREDS... honestly in the last year, I have not seen a single Trophy "to die for" set at eBayI wish those other guys would stop outbidding me most of the time.
Brian
Al, there doesn't seem to be any collections coming on the market here in the UK, I wish there was
Cheers

Four marching Egyptian soldiers
These figures are very early Trophy, there is somthing about the bases that make them quite unique
Cheers

Hi Martyn,
The attachment of the arms is unique too.
Thanks, Raymond.

Hi Raymond
I had a fascinating conversation with Len Taylor earlier today and he told me how, before the TM logo was stamped into the base, they had TM etched on, in fact Len did some of this work himself. There are not many figures with this style of marking out there.
Cheers
Martyn
Martyn,
I rather like the old TM etched on to the underside of the bases, especially if done by the master himself.
Thanks, Raymond.
