Cheers,

Thanks Brad, I hope to add a few single pieces but I fear the days of boxed sets has ended, unless someone turns up with a collection for sale and I manage to see it before Clive:D;)

Cheers

Martyn:)

The elephant gun team was found a couple days ago. Very early version, different from the later version. The elephants have light brown blankets instead of blue ones in the later version, the mahouts are Indian artillery soldiers instead of the civilian mahouts in the later version and Indian Artillery soldiers walking along the gun do not have rifles., a cannon barrel is green instead of black. The figures have a oval base with a silver Trophy sticker attached to it. One elephant has a "factory defect" on his trunk but it will be fixed promptly. I am quite sure that I did not connect all chains in a correct order :D

Congrats Al on finding this set! I have a later version with different figures than yours as far as the seated British figures

Thank you, Brad and Lawrence.
I already fixed the trunk and it looks like new :)

Lawrence, I already found the version of the set you have but still negotiating the deal :D The version I like the most is the the latest one which is shown in Martyn's album... to be found yet...

New finds in civilians department... I have never seen this version of the cart with a driver...

Great civilian additions you have there Al. I need to try and get a copy of a very early catalogue with civilians listed, unfortunately the civilian reference I have at the moment relates to sets issued in the 1990's

Many thanks Brian.

Trophy produced over 30 sets which included the great Steam Traction engine and Naval Brigade Oxen drawn 4.7 gun
