I recently acquired a large collection of Trophy civilians and will post pictures of most interesting sets here, the rest of the pictures could be found in my album next week...

1. See Captain and wife ....Our old sea salt having just returned from a two year voyage around the cape has brought a gaily colored parrot as a surprise for his wife and she has a surprise for him!

2. Village Idiot...is almost an exact copy of a Britains figure but it's legit and Trophy made them in small quantities...I could not find a catalog number but maybe Martyn will...

3. An Artist... again around 30 set has been made please notice that a painting for every set was painted differently...tan artist figure is pretty much the same. The paintings are probably were painted by Len himself...he is encellent painter: I have seen his landscapes...

4. Special set The Home Guard "Dad's Army" based on popular British TV show. Only 30 sets has been made I was told....The Officer of this volunteer force; nick name Dads Army, lectures our ancient Private who carries his own persona; double barrel shot gun. At first the only uniform was an arm band, our two volunteers are more fortunate...

5. Cricket Captain with a bat, I have never seen one before...

Thank you, Martyn
Village Idiot came in a Trophy Box of 6 with a label (sadly box has only one figure inside )...
I regards to Dads Army: it is a story that a local dealer told me... maybe you should ask Len when you have a chance.. I wrote him, no answer yet.

Thanks for posting this. I actually bought this many years ago (the only Trophy figures I ever have). It was a special set available through Military Hobbies Magazine (the fore runner to Toy Soldier & Model Figure), being a prat I sold it sometime later. :(

Al, thanks again for the photo, I really wish I had kept them :( I'm going to go and kick myself now....

It's been mentioned before but I think between you guys on TF there is enough figures and sets to be able to publish a book on Trophy Miniatures. That would be so
