Hey Martin et al,
Just spoke with a collector who out of the blue told me he had so little space left for his collection that he'd just taken 100 or so assorted size boxes from his Trophy sets down to the dump!!
If he was a bit nearer I'd have gone and rescued them myself.!!

Best
Clive

Hi Clive, now hear this..................

I've just had a long chat with Len is afternoon and he told me how they filled several skips with empty Trophy boxes and catalogues just before he sold the Company

That's a true story

Cheers

Martyn:)

Hi Martyn: Did Len also tell you that they dumped several large stacks of catalogues as well?

Well...what is funny - I just got 150+ empty Trophy boxes: so there is a BALANCE in this world :)

Martyn,

Great stuff, Martyn... wonderful early models just the way I liked them :)
It must be a "Trophy Balance" in the world because because I am not finding any Sudan sets yet :D but can not complaint about other ranges... I surely remember about dups, do you need "box dups" as well?

Hey Guys,

Over the last several months I was able to collect all the Napoleon in Egypt Turkish Sets NE11, NE12, and NE13! I was able to do this by swapping sets with Martyn! I want to give a big thank you to Martyn because he did much more leg work than I in the trade.;). The man with the incredible Trophy collection certainly improved mine! :D This forum is a wonderful thing. I have always thought these Turkish sets were some of Trophy's most unique and unusual work. I never thought I would have all three.

Very nice John and congratulations. Thanks for posting such great photos. I hope you didn't have to give Martyn your Skoda mortar in trade.

Thanks Tommy,
No the Skoda was NOT part of the deal! I would have rather given up my left arm!;)

Wow!! Those are stunning. I've never seen the Napoleonic Turkish sets - very exotic. Nice addition to your collection. :)

Hi John

Excellent pictures and I am really happy to have helped track them down.

Cheers

Martyn:)

i would love to have those, they are actually on 3 of my top five trophy want list items. i saw them on a post at a london show but nobody could hook me up on whose table had them. it looks like martyn scored again. glad you got your figures though john, and if anybody else has any to trade let me know as i have a substantial amount of trophy,

Thanks for the nice comments Dragoon, Martyn;), Paulo, and Hawkeye,
I have already given them their own shelf!
