Martyn,
Great set and I love the officers. There was a great supply wagon that went with these right?

What a great photo Martyn with another of Len's Gems. Don't know how I missed it earlier but it could be that you along with others of the Trophy Clan have been posting your latest additions faster than I've been able to keep up with them. Hope your keeping warm an toasty with all the snow you've been having, had a dusting of it a day ago..........Joe

Many thanks Joe.

I've been admiring the new AZW sets that have been posted lately;)

Martyn,
Nice set, what type of specal set is it?
Brian

Hi Brian

Glad you like the set and thank you for the question

This set was produced as a special add on to the Somerset LI column set and was to represent Scouts/Skirmishers ahead of the main Column who have engaged the enemy, the original DB12 consisted of 3 Privates kneeling firing and 3 Privates standing firing, as you can see my set has a Sergeant at the ready, two Privates standing reloading and 3 Privates kneeling firing. I will be posting pictures of the Column soon.

Cheers

At long last, these finally appeared :)

Very nice Brad, they were all available to buy as single figures, not part of sets.

Thanks Martyn. That's probably why they probably didn't cost an arm and a leg (plus a kidney to boot) :D

Have you seen the price empty Trophy boxes have gone for in the last few months:eek:

Haven't paid attention to those Martyn but wouldn't surprise me. When I first became a collector I couldn't understand why people purchased empty boxes. After awhile it became clear to me :D

Brad, I was lucky to find a few Trophy 24 figure boxes a couple of years ago for £2.50 each;) they have proved very useful:D

Hi Raymond

I found mine at MKL but Lynn hasn't had any stock since late 2009, I'm not sure who supplied Trophy originally but when I speak to Len next week I will ask him.

Cheers

Hey Guys,
I just picked up this partial set and I cannot identify it. Can anyone help me out(Martyn ;)? I know it is from the Sudan Tel El Kebir set and is somewhat early. The set is missing the bugler & another private. Thanks
JW
