EGYPT and THE SUDAN

Set# EQ28 - UNLOADING WAGON

The early sets had 4 figures, later sets had 5 figures. This set has a soldier drinking from his canteen instead of a soldier opening a box

Another nice addition to support your growing forces Sir Martyn.

I have not been on for a few days. I comeback and get to see all of the wonderful new additions to your collection Martyn. I should have come on sooner.

Martyn: Good for you. Maybe you could talk to Len and find out how many different sets he made.

Hi Tommy

I spoke to Len this morning and he's not sure without delving into his mass of paperwork he has stored away. He sends you his regards by the way:salute::

Do you think it could be a recast Martyn, he does sell alot of recast items and castings.

The eyes on his figures don't quite look the same as yours.

I never thought of that Scott, you could be right but the early Gunga Din figure has no TM marking on the base. I spoke to Len yesterday and the Gunga Din figure came up in the conversation, Len confirmed there was no marking on the base. I think the seller would have upped the price if he knew it had a Trophy pedigree. I have many different styles of "eyes" with my figures.
