Many thanks Joe :salute:::salute::

The Royal Marines and Yorks & Lancs from the Tamai sets are quite unique to that series with the design of their helmets. I blame John(theweinz) for getting me started on the quest to find all the RM sets ^&grin{bravo}}

Cheers mate

Martyn:)

Received these on Thursday.

General Lee on Traveler. Pictured him with Longstreet (which I guess is relatively new also).

Also received the Eagle Add-on set. Now, won't some nice person offer to sell me the Eagle? :wink2:

Thanks Martyn. Do you know if Len made a General Grant figure?

I've had a look and can't see anything listed in the catalogues I have Brad but I will ask Len next week when I talk to him

Cheers

Martyn:)

Thanks Martyn. Do you know if Len made a General Grant figure?
Brad: The only individual officers I found were ACW43-Gen. James Longstreet; ACW44-Joshua Chamberlain; ACW48-Maj; Gen. George Pickett; ACW49-Maj. Robert Anderson; ACW50-Brig. Gen. P.G.T. Beauregard and ACW55-General Robert E. Lee.
The Civil War is Mike Laeding's strong suite and I will ask him. He had several special commissions done by Len.

Trophy of Texas exclusive figures were EL11c- Gen. Louis Armistead; EL13TT-JEB Stuart; EL16TT-Stonewall Jackson; EL17TT-Nathan Bedford Forest; EL19TT-Gen. John Bell Hood; and ACW21TT-Gen. Winfield Scott Handcock. Lee's set number may also be EL14. No Gen. Grant.

Tommy,

Thanks for the info. Are the Hancock and Armistead figures you mention the same as the ones in the Gettyburg Limited Editions?

Regarding Stuart, Hood, Jackson and Forrest, I had never heard of those (let alone seen them). Can someone post photos if they have them. Maybe I'll be fortunate enought to pick them up someday.

Brad: General Hancock was an exclusive commission so it was not the same. I don't know about Armistead.

EL13TT-JEB Stuart. This is from Mike's Laeding's photos.

Louis: Totally agree with you in regards to the R.E. Lee sculpt. The Stonewall Jackson piece is likewise incredibly well done. When it comes to these renditions I have no quarrel with the figurines being painted gloss. Just an incredible quality they exude. I hope more ACW is in the wings or is going to be made available.

Scott, Louis and Jeff,

Thanks. I thought it was a great sculpt as well.

I'm not into the Civil War at all, but if I saw that figure at a show or in a shop, I would buy it without hesitation. Great figure, honoring a great general.^&cool^&cool

Tommy,

Besides the base, which makes it a nice dio piece, what is the difference? Is the painting better?
